he’s not bad. I wouldn’t really put it on my ipod, but it’s not really a bad song. and he does have potential. only thing is his voice doesn’t really fit in with the beats he chooses it seems like, and he just seems kind of uncomfortable on the track. But I think both of those will fade away over time.

Diggy’s is talented and that’s wassup. the only thing though is everytime i watch one of his videos or freestyles, i end up with a feeling of nothingness. i don’t pick up much from his words and his whole raps breeze by me with no conviction, passion or memorability. i honestly feel like he may lack in life experience and needs to really live life, go through some shit, get his heart broken, Fuck, something! not trying to hate, but i just don’t feel anything when this kid raps. making art for fame, profit and to prove you have talent is not my thing.

Think of all the new comers, the youngest besides Diggy I can think of is Big Sean, who is 22. He raps about the shit most do, bitches, liquor, partying, but then he has some of the illest punchlines in the game, and he has songs like “Million Dollars” and “Who Knows”. Diggy doesn’t have any of that. He just rap real fast with real big words, so it can sound like he’s actually flowing and saying something, but it’s really nothing at all. I know dudes who used to rap like this, and I told them, “it ain’t really goin son, sorry.”

This video was decent but all of these post about dude reminding people of a little Lupe baffle me. Dudes’s “swagger” is like lupe’s so he’s like a little lupe??? The flow is leaps and bounds behind lupe in all aspect from delivery to topic choice to quality of metaphors so I’m not getting that at all.
