    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtMpVsm7bPo

I was bumping to Drake back in 06 (when he was still nice), was listening to Bobby
Ray since before “I’ll Be in the Sky” and used to skip class to see the XX perform
live back before people knew who they were and I have a good feeling about this nigga
    give him a listen…

couple other good tracks to check out: Short black boy and Area (ignore the random dude auto-tuning in the beginning)

  6. Man everywhere I go, all i’m hearing is mo talk, What’s up with Jada and Fat Joe? Doin’ a song with ol’ boy on the song New York, I thought you just did a song with them both?

I hope people dont take that as Em dissing them.

  7. Word?! Thank you NMC! And Mel!

  8. Damn Meka, you sound hype as fuck…lol

  9. this would make sense that it was released in 2005 since it sounds like em sounded back on the Re Up CD

  28. Happy NMC Day!!

  29. what’s NMC Day

  30. These are from Eminem’s bad period, he isn’t even trying here. Gladly, he’s not like this anymore. Thank God.

  31. both of these tracks r fuckin fire

  32. as much of a fan I am of both, these both just seem…ok. Classic Shit was the better of the 2 though…

  33. Also, there not shot fired at Fat Joe or Jada. That’s fans bothering eminem with questions

  34. @Shake: “Shots fired at Jada and Fat Joe” is REALLY stretching it in reference to the first track.

  35. These songs could be in a museum as an example of completely average, 2.5/5 hip hop.

They also stand as a shining example of why Stat Quo was dropped from Interscope. He says NOTHING INTERESTING on these tracks. Really, Stat Quo? You get to do a song with Eminem, and you can’t come up with ONE MEMORABLE LYRIC? “I’m cool, don’t mess with me, damn, people are biting my style” – no, they’re not. because nobody knows who you are. even after listening to you rap 16 bars, we don’t know who you are. and no, that’s not “hate.” that’s me giving you a fair chance, and you ruining it. (his tracks on The Re-Up were also completely forgettable.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if Eminem’s pissed this leaked, too. He’s literally just rapping, “Hey, this is a guy I signed to my label named Stat Quo, he’s pretty good, and you should listen to him, he’s from Atlanta.” Why would I ever want to a song where this is the subject matter? “Hey guys, have you heard that sweet song by Eminem where he raps about a guy from Atlanta he signed to his label, and then the guy from Atlanta he signed to his label raps after him, and is completely forgettable?”

Glad these were tagged, so I didn’t download this pablum onto my computer.

  36. Dope to finally hear something from this album, nothing that blows me away, still dope though with that vintage Shady Records Sound/Feel

  37. ^^ wow at the truth

  38. Quo on that Em flow lol
    Classic Shit is dope.

  39. Eminem’s verses was still dope, but in comparison to Eminem’s verses? It was average.

Man… Classic Sh*t was still dope tho

  40. Ugh, boring Em at his finest. I can’t stand that era. 99-02>09-10>03-07

This makes me appreciate Em’s new shit more.

  41. Stat Quo fuckin SLAUGHTERED em.

  42. Cmon Shake, dont say that these were shots fired. These were just questions that other people were asking him around that time. Obviously he probably had a problem with them doing New York, but its not a diss.

  43. A few years ago u couldn’t tell me Stat Quo wasn’t gon blow up ….

  44. both songs are fuckin sick, love the beat and Em got flow

  45. Eh decent shit im guessin this was around 05 encore era when eminem kind of lost his sharp tounged flow n passion But s’al good now hes back better than ever JUNE 22ND

  46. lupehead = faggot

  47. A little view of the old Statlanta album. Can’t wait til June 22nd. Its gonna be a totally different album but Stat has always been dope. Shit, he actually got better since he left shady/aftermath. QuoCity, Checks and Balances, and The Bailout are incredible albums from Stat.

  59. I dont think Em was really goin at Jada or Fat Joe, he was more so of like rappin as if some1 was talkin 2him……but no shots tho yall should clear that up MEK or Shake b4 u start sum shit!!

  60. For ya’ll that said Relapse was wack, listen to these two verses here, now that’s what u call wack Shady!

  61. “nice tracks wish em kept obie and stat but o well”

^^^^^^^ferreal yo!!! stat and obie are madd nice!… both underrated no doubt… IDK how they could let em go… but dont make it sound like they got dropped cuz its known that they both left on good terms… stat been feedin us music which is ill, but wtf is up with obie!?!? hopefully they still make somethin with Em… i know stat is still on the detox writin staff…

  62. God damn those beats are boring as hell!

  63. damn em’s verse was ASS on the first joint.. this is like his Encore flow…. its a good thing that he got off those drugs…

    second track was ayyt actually
