Kiss chops it up with MTV about his next album, Top 5, Dead Or Alive.
“I got about three good ones,” he said of the songs. “Not even recorded. I got probably two verses off each song. Maybe four good ones. [DJ Drama] sent me something. I’m doing real careful selection on production on this project.
“Just fire,” he added about what he’s looking for. “But big songs! Even my street joints, even if it’s a symphony. If every verse got 75 curses in it, I want the production to be big.” After some contemplating, Jada has decided to keep the album titled Top Five, Dead or Alive.

He needs to get some dope production and just go in. Really really really scale down the features….he always has way too many features on his albums which make it feel watered down

Top 5 dead or alive, shows who kiss is, hes in the top, but will never ever be called number 1. And he will never try and claim that spot.

Kiss is my dude I’ve been down with him from the beginning but he’s right about the production that shit has got to be top notch if he’s going to call his album top 5 dead or alive. and with that title i agree with Guest he needs to cut out the features and make this a true solo album

It was ok IMO
Like i previously mentioned, it had way too many guest features and kind of has a pop feel to the album and doesnt showcase his skills like it should
Production wise-every track is basically produced by a different producer also giving the album a very commercial feel to it. The album has like 15 producers and it feels like it lacks a direction. Each producer tried to make their one track, a single, and it shows.
Anyways, to each their own. Just my opinion. I just expected more from him and sounds like he expected more from himself, to be honest. I think T5DOA will be nice.

jadakiss put the title as top five dead or alive for the fact of d block not that he will never be rated number 1. If he thought that he would never be rated number 1 then honestly he never will be. Then the album will be trash just like “THE LAST KISS”.
