I’ll still stand by my opinion that attending this show last February was one of the highlights of my life. I damn near teared up myself when I saw this performance.
“Untitled/Fantastic” is the emotional hub of Suite for Ma Dukes. When Mochilla/VTech screened the film in Detroit last week somebody shouted out, “Now that’s what I’m talking about…”
House Shoes has said several times, that he can’t watch Untitled/Fantastic without tearing up. If Suite for Ma Dukes has unlocked the emotional power of Dilla’s music, Untitled/Fantastic is the key. Here it is, our last offering from the three dvd set. To see the rest, you’ll have to purchase them.
Rest in Peace Dilla.

Man …. when I was listening to this in High School I never thought that what I was hearing would touch so many people. Jay Dee forever. Sucks that it took his death for people to see. Do people ever see before that???? Prob not.

Dynamic! said this on April 28th, 2010 at 3:49 pm I know i do but unfortunately a lot of other people do not see how great someone is until tragedy strikes. I really hate that shit. Peace!!

I agree on the whole it taking death for people to see someones greatness, but it is what it is. Thats how people are and, truthfully, while its discouraging, its also humbling. I mean, they killed Jesus, what chance do most of us have at being acknowledged? With that said, look at how someones life can change the world… I think it shows who the great people are, they keep working dispite the lack of immediate recognition…
theres my 2 cents
