Well… it looks like The Chef isn’t the only Wu member bringing back a classic. Earlier today RZA confirmed rumors of him being on the producing end of GZA’s next album. With OBLCL2 being as amazing as it was is, I’m hoping for the best. But if I see/hear a Curtis diss (or anything of that matter) I’m throwing up in everyone’s cereal. Fact.

I’m not a big GZA fan but after hearing Shyne lately every other dude sounds like Illmatic Nas to me so I will give it a chance when it drops.

THE FIRST Liquid Swords had some classic shit on there,,,GZA’s verse on “Duel of the Iron Mic” > 96.67% of the rhymes we hear today in hip hop………and the beat to Shadowboxin is timeless!! RZA + GZA = classic beats and thought provoking lyrics……WUTANG! (*Dave Chappelle voice*)
JonnieHayward said this on April 28th, 2010 at 1:16 am
Is anyone else annoyed that they’re doing sequels? It just shows how far they haven’t come that they have to resort to their classic material to create a new album.

Love GZA, but I wish folks would keep it 100 and come up with a new idea instead of reworking what they already done well.

Shake that 50 Cent diss was one of the stronger tracks I had heard from GZA for a long time. And I havnt skipped a single GZA album, it was mature, and perfect, maintained in lyrics. You know dude isnt gonna diss 50 again, and 50 dissed him disrespectfully so he had every reason to diss. Sooo I dont know why your bitching, are you mad there’s no Asher Roth feature?

don’t think rza can come as gully as he did on liquid swords, seeing as he didn’t really have the most memorable beats on ob4cl part 2.
but rae showed other producers can capture that same sound.
RICK RO$$ said this on April 28th, 2010 at 5:23 pm
VSOP- im whicha. my fav album of all time ‘Liquid Swords’. i really really hope part 2 takes off where part 1 left off.
dat means Samples, grimmy beats & genius lyrics.

I piss on other albums…WU TANG FOREVER. ^All you hate’n ass motha fuckaz need to back up off the wu…you should never think they are in search of something new…they’re Wu through and through…they don’t wanna change and don’t need 2. See the games fucked up…we got ppl like jeezy 50 and solja boy that do just that…change up their style so everybody likes em…fake ass busters. Your always gonna get somethin hot from the clan weither it be a slug or an album you best belive its gonna be Witty Unpredictable Talent All Natural Game.
NzaNecta said this on May 2nd, 2010 at 12:11 pm
James your a dumbass. They are coming out with sequel cause the first one was popular and that gets people stoked on the sequel. Look at Call of duty games (I don’t play them) they have like 7 sequels cause they are popular. NO HOMO
Damon said this on May 4th, 2010 at 4:06 pm
i think this album will be another classic one reason is RZA is producing it and GZA knows what has to be done for this sequal OB4CL2 does not have alot of RZAs production and its a classic so what makes you think this album won’t be good i’m not doubting this at all we talking about GZA here he never disappointed but the best part is that RZA is the beatmaker i truly can’t wait
Nick said this on May 4th, 2010 at 9:16 pm
Fuck off HATERS! OB4CL Tical Return to the 36 Chambers Ironman…. classics… produced by who? RZA! none of that wack Solja boy garbage!
AdidasFreak89 said this on May 5th, 2010 at 5:44 pm

@james well, i’d rather them do sequels VS. putting out bullshit that’s considered “good music” in today’s time.
