Diggy spits some bars over Jiggaland’s classic. Below, Diggy chops it up with GoodFellaRadio about fashion and *ahem* parallels with Weezy.

Since signing to Atlantic Records, Daniel “Diggy” Simmons, has been a rather busy young man. Between meetings about his shoe line, Chivalrous Culture Sneakers, to meetings about his music, classes, working on his next mixtape, getting featured in XXL Magazine (on stands now; page 26), being a teenager plus daily schooling, his work ethic is to be commended and admired. Let’s not forget him becoming the newest addition to the Violator Management  team; yes you read that correctly, Diggy is now managed by, Chris Lighty.

  29. lol at the jealous people posting on here. Wish you were Diggy don’t ya? No one can put any source that he ghostwrites, and making a ton of mixtapes isn’t the only way of having good work ethic.

    Dude has some skill, the first flight was good. All his freestyles since then have been better. The kid is doing a great job of building himself, can not wait to hear his next project.

    I really hope the album has a song with his dad, that would be soooooooo dope. Leave JoJo the hell away though

I think he writes his own stuff because, sadly, we ALL heard Jojo’s material & that shit sure as hell wasn’t ghostwritten. *smdh* Besides that his delivery & flow are on point. I think his age has some of you young cats confused. I was a decent writer when I was 16 (even though my flow and delivery was nowhere near that good). I’m in no way puttin Diggy on Mobb Deep or Nas’ level but I’m just sayin he’s smart and has a good head on his shoulders so I don’t see why he couldn’t be writin his own lyrics. As for him not working for it just compare Diggy to Jojo, Jojo used his dad and uncle and when was the last time you heard of that dude, now compare him to Diggy he may have used his dad and uncle, but he clearly had to put some work into to this to be signed to a major record label. As for this freestyle it’s okay Flow Stoopid was way better, but he has potential.
