Most of you guys don’t know what you’re talking about with the Peter Parker thing. He’s put on for a lot of local acts in the city and done a lot for Minnesota hip hop too. But NOOOOOO, most of y’all only know half-truths and side stories to ever tune in to that. But that’s the sentiments of a lot of Minnesota artists and hip hop fans who don’t really know about everything and the inside logistics, so I won’t fault you for that.
The reason B96 played ANY local artists period was because of him. Some of the dope hip hop played on there (that most of y’all didn’t know about because you were too busy hating on B96 and being purists) was because of him. He was one of the first radio DJs to play the B.o.B record, and would have played it way earlier if it wasn’t for higher-ups not giving the okay.
