This is nice. All of his beats sound similar because they’re generally by Tricky Stewart and he has a very particular beat style. I think the instrumentals work because The-Dream is so comfortable over them.

Shake – couldn’t agree more! what happened to the days of remixes being new beats and having a posse cut? like Flava In Ya Ear (remix)… or One More Chance (remix)… even Heartbreaker by Mariah Carey had that old Ain’t No Fun beat, with Missy & Da Brat… those were the days of remixing!
On everything, Timbaland used to remix the HELL out of songs. Him, Pharrell, and Diddy all used to be some goons when it came to flippin remixes.
