Banks is infinitely more talented than Rick “Serpico” Ross…..but real talk, his buzz isn’t what it was in ’04. Right now he’s buzzin off of one hit and a dope mixtape, but he wouldn’t be the biggest priority on Def Jam by a long shot. Def Jam is so focused on Rhianna, The Dream, and the rest of their pop/R&B roster anyway. Far as rappers, I can’t see him being a higher priority than Luda and Jeezy. Or Fab, and Jada, for that matter.
Hopefully he makes the best of his indie situation, though.
Banks needs to sign with DEF JAM!!! Interscope doesnt care about you if your name aint Eminem or Dr Dre (they dont even care about 50 anymore)
