Third, yes being interview by MTV means you’re relevant. For a station that has little music and interviews you about music means something. It means you have a fan base and you’re strong enough to generate interest in.

Honestly though I was still checkin for G-Unit after Game “supposedly” ended their careers… I only stopped listening to them cuz they were puttin out wack shit, not cuz Game said so.. That to me is why their careers were put on hold and also cuz the attention span of the average hip-hop listener is that of a person with a major case of A.D.D.. Anyone who says that Game hasn’t put out heat roc material since Dre and 50 is stupid. Granted, those tracks with them were hot and his first album was classic but the following two albums were very well put together compared to a lot of shit out there floating around today. Unlike most other artists, he stopped working with a big name producer (Dre) and was still able to work with other producers and make some big hits. Don’t get it twisted. Also, he pretty much destroyed G-Unit as a brand, like someone already said. I’m not going to say that he doesn’t do some weird shit like diss someone then fall back but you can’t deny the talent either.
