  1. The reason is actually more than what Fab gives himself credit for. As a rapper and an individual he is just a smart and witty person. He says things in way a lot of rappers cannot even fathom saying something. This is what keeps fans coming back; as well as just great music in general as he says…

  2. i disagree with The Convo Piece. He’s not any more witty than lets say, a Lupe Fiasco. Matter of fact, Lupe is light years ahead of Fab as far as lyrics go.I think the reason he’s been around so long is simply because he started out with hard rhymes, then moved to the female thing. If he hadn’t started that way I don’t think anyone other than chicks would listen to dude. But he has that fan base still behind him. But, I personally think he’s watered down a great deal since he first showed up.

  3. As a matter of fact, I’ll correct myself. Fab has always been on the r&b rap thing really. I guess it’s just because before he found a way to balance both well.

  5. Fabolous can give it to you however way you want it. I hate saying the word “swagg” but he’s got it (no rainbow) He carries himself unlike a lot of other rappers plus his word play and metaphors and punchlines, no other rapper comes close. He can give you crazy metaphors like on “Never let it go” on Loso’s way. And he can give u story joints like “I miss my love” and go hit you with bars on “I’m gettin money” from TINC 1. And the countless lady songs. I think 70% of his best shit isn’t on cds that you can go get from Best Buy n shit. He’ll be around for a while because his flows seems to be getting better every year.

  7. I’m a fan of fab…but at times and more than half the time he comes off really corny…

    Thats just an observation of mine over the last decade listening to his music…

  8. For someone to say Lupe is better than Fab light years is from a fan’s perspective.

    One I’m not a fan of Lupe so I can disagree and Lupe joints just doesn’t sound good at all. Ever since he came out his shit was wack to me and that’s my opinion. I’m a fan of Loso ever since he came out on Lil Mo’s track.
