In a couple months everybody will forget about his album because J. Cole, Eminem, Banks, Drake, etc are dropping. Well I shouldn’t say everybody because the white people who don’t listen to actual hip hop will still care. I should have said REAL hip hop fans won’t care about his album now or then.
agree with @Rezo. truthfully he isnt anything serious. he’s known now but not really much to offer. dont get me wrong ive been following him since his 1st mixtape. known him b4 anybody who just listens to the radio. i just dont see style, wordplay, lyrics. not much. very talented though but yea idk
you guys sound like idiots. Hip-hop is not just for black people, all hip-hop artists have white fans. All the white kids where I’m from listen to the same music as the black people. And he went on tour with Lupe, so that means Lupe has a lot of white fans, is he not real Hip-Hop. And the fact that you aren’t comfortable listening to an artist because you are worrying bout what dude in the car next to you think? thats just self confidence issues. Thats why there is so little originality and progress in hip-hop and in young america in general. Everyone is scared to be different because of what other people might say. We got to get to the point where you do what you wanna do because thats what you want to do. this is a problem that goes deeper than hip-hop music. The people who think out of the box are the real successful people both in music and the real world.

He’s not the typical one-dimensional rapper. Normally, a rapper would evolve to this point, but dude evolved without being under the microscope. Yea, he’s not super lyrical; he has that Southern style to it, which might be difficult to gravitate towards; and his wordplay is basic but he seems to know the formula of how to draw the ears.
As for Reno, who gives a fuck what you may think about what’s playing in the next mans car. That’s his shit. If it’s that important to you then you pay his monthly payments and insurance.

I’m a huge b.o.b fanboy. he’s not a great lyricist. but I like his mellow flow, his ability to do something 100% different from the last track and just the fact, that he thinks out of the box. it’s damn MUSIC he makes. who cares if it’s “real hip-hop”? it’s just good music. the album is a bit mainstream but c’mon. he showed us on his mixtapes to what he is able. now b.o.b tries to be succesful with his music. and just because there are features like this halley whatever you say it’s some kind of pop? really? come out of your boxes.
