  1. OMG a J.Cole post??? OMG this guy is the next 2Pac!!!

  2. j.cole is a legend in the making. sumthin about this cats music jus is it. fuk all the haters. next pac???? stop smokin dem rocks

  3. Simba will drop the best album off that freshman list.

  4. WHERE THE FUCK IS WHO DAT YOU CRAZY NIGGAS
AND CAN WE GET A DEFINITE ALBUM/MIXTAPE NAME
SMH SHAKE AND MEKA. I WANT MUSIC.

  5. @OnTheRun – you mean besides Freddie Gibbs

  6. The South is Nice With It

  7. I think all lyricist under 30 were inspired by cannibus

  8. Last time I checked instrumentation contained melody. So the beats rappers have been rapping over for decades have contained melody. I swear ever since Ye started blabbing about melody and equating it strictly to singing everyone has hopped on that band wagon. Eh fuck it who the hell wants to actually learn about music any way we all have protools any way don’t we.

  9. When J.Cole talking about the AND 1/one line shit, it’s exactly opposite from me. The ‘bff’ line in ‘We On’ …the raw dog line in ‘Just Begun’…the Digiorno line in the ‘Ignorant Shit’ track…dude isn’t bad, but he always has one line that ruins the whole track for me. He’s better than most…but most are entirely trash.

Yonas is as good as or better than J.Cole. What.

  10. boo Hauser

  11. a legend in the making. a classic is on the way.
if you don’t agree, you’ll see.

  12. I feel like his album is gonna be great but i can somewhat see where Hauser is comeing from… some of his lines in the new songs have been corny.

And when they talk about melody they mean in the lyrics obviously…

  13. this nigga good hopefully he don’t get like jay wit the interviews

  14. iight ur talkin about 3 lines, 1 from a radio verse, 1 from a song where he dwarfed Jay Elect (no easy feat), and 1 from a throwaway track for Dj Khaled.

don’t complain til dude drops his album and flips the game on its head, or not for those too stupid to realize history in the making.

  15. whoa whoa whoa…did you just say J.Cole dwarfed Jay E on Just Begun.?

    oh hell no.
J.Cole’s verse was nice (save the raw dog line) otherwise GTFOH.

  16. @Hauser

…. you might wanna listen to that track again, cuz everybody got sonned by j. cole.
look how he crept up without applause

  17. Got it playin now. Ya’ll trippin. Infinitely. I have a feeling ya’ll think J.Cole’s verse is better than Jay E is cuz you don’t know who and what the fuck Jay E talkin bout.

  18. this actually isn’t a bad debate, both verses are filthy, jay elect’s word play is alil crazier but cole’s delivery and flow is flawless

  19. yea that hakeem olajuwon line is insane

NaS x J. Cole x Jay Elect on one track = everybodys dream come true

  20. “I get up, I see the clouds from my window, I pray the sun don’t shine this way
And where I go is the wind blow, momma your son gon’ find his way
And if I gotta crawl Imma make it to the end though
Until the top if I climb my way, and tell ‘em imma rise
I’m on my – headin for the sky – I’m on my way”

    Dope!

  21. beats can have melody but that dont mean the rapper move wit it and also contains a melody. take Guru. This nigga raps just FLAT. it be about the flow and not hitting NOTES. that’s something a lot dont do. it’s its not NEW i mean off the top i can think of Em doing that shit back on his earlier albums.

  22. I wouldn’t say he dwarfed anyone, but he definitely was going stride for stride with Jay Elect..

Jay Elect is a teacher, he literally drops Jewels every other line..hes able to do this cause he lived it being an older dude..

J Cole is still living it…so rather than drop jewels I feel like he more often than not is rapping for the purpose of sharing his perspective on topics. But that’s his appeal.. his perspective on every topic has thus far been perfectly aligned with (slight generalization coming)what most hip hop heads are feeling. And it extends outside of songs..in interviews dude always says the perfect things, you can’t help but rock with him. Came up on Canibus, one of the most underrated cats out..

Now i’m not saying this dude is perfect by any stretch of the imagination..the one liner point is a valid one now that i’m thinking about it. But this dude is representing all thats right in hip hop to me right now, and I really think that he’s peerless amongst dudes in his lane.

I’m high on some fucking dank ass hashberry right now, so i’m rambling like a motherfucker…If I didnt write this shit id never read a post this fucking long.

    JETS FOOOOL

  23. this dudes the real deal. fuck drake

this cat bleeds hip hop, he got heart, and hes hungry.

  24. I agree with Promo but everybody gotta realize these are toss away songs n verses for Cole. Dude has yet to disappoint on a verse despite this. Let’s wait for the finished product, not chicken scratch Cole lays on us every month so that us fiends don’t go insane.
@promo, i feel u son, faded off that K & OJ right meow

  25. Knock on Wood>>

  26. Yall gonna jinx it and ruin J cole for everyone with all this “Next great legend” talk. I really like this dude music but yall gonna overhype him so he cant possibly live up to the expectations. Its the same thing that happened to Lupe. At one point everyone was saying he was gonna save the game and then when he dropped everybody already had such high expectations that he could not possibly meet. Same thing will happen to Detox. No album can live up to 10 years of Hype. So for Hip Hops sake please stop this blatant putting of J Cole on a pedestal talk and just enjoy his music cuz when his album drop and everyone is disappointed Ima blame you guys and not him.

  27. boooooooooooooring. and so it goes on to another waste of time for this A. Hole dude. how many boring interviews this dude is gonna do til his garbage album drops? he’s no MESSIAH, he’s no GAME CHANGER, and he’s definitely not even close to NICE on the M.I.C. look how hesitant he looks with his puzzled demeanor when he’s kickin’ somebody else lines. he’s no where ready to drop any album, dude is too green and too inexperience to make a name for himself. that fool is embarrassing himself and becoming the laughing stock in the skinny jean era. A Hole is the most overhyped rapper since MC BRAINS, back when Bell Biv Devoe try to poison the public.

  28. gotta love the respect for Undying Love

  29. Yo i’ve gained so much respect for him that he’s into canibus! man deserved his dues! And nas too? yo i heard a verse from j.cole and it was dope, but i haven’t heard anything else.

  30. Jcole is a breath of fresh air so far he hasn’t done anything wrong, his album will be a CLASSIC, compared to Drake’s thank me later I dont think drake will even come close cause he has used all of his good material, OVER was wack to me, his song with wayne wack, he better get to work its a COLD world and COle is creeping up on him, i see more haters everyday on this blog, haters mean he finna blow so hey Drake hurry up, J. COLE Stan signing out

  31. “But at the end of the day!” lol

i swear every interview he says that

  32. @Boomerang Slang“But at the end of the day!” lol
i swear every interview he says that<<<your so right lmao he says that shit everywhere.

but COLE is the truth tho.

  33. GROWN SIMBA
