As most of us knew last night, Eminem would be renaming his upcoming album; now titled Recovery.
“I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year,” says Eminem. “But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title.”
Album is scheduled for a June 22nd released. With production from DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin, Boi-1da and more.

I must be one of the few that really enjoyed Relapse. Yea, the accent/voice was slightly annoying but his flow and wordplay shitted on almost everything that came out last year. Check “Medicine Ball”, “Stay Wide Awake” and “3 A.M.” for proof.

I have an insider at Aftermath and heard that the single is gonna drop today, then Under Pressure is gonna drop tomorrow. That way the first singles for RED, Recovery, and Detox come one day after each other. Then in June, there is going to be one week in between each album.

Recovery is a great album title for the situation. Recovery means better album than Relapse! June 22nd is lovely. 3 days after my bday. Drake comes out June 15th. I don’t see Kanye West dropping in June. I see it getting pushed back to late July-early August. Joell Ortiz is gonna be good. If Game’s street single is any indication of his album I may be disappointed.

i dont know about ya’ll, but i think em is in his best form ever (technical wise) recently. Even on relapse he was killing the rhyme schemes, flows, wordplay, etc. and its only gotten crazier with each new feature.
If he can get some actual shit to talk about, this album could easily be his best effort yet.

It’s his best work to date, lyrics are from another planet, beats are crazy! Look out for the monster track produced by DJ Khalil called “Convalescent”, it’s Eminem at his very best. Boi1da got 2 tracks on there which are fucking ridiculous!! The Jus Blaze produced track “Carry Me” is gonna surprise a lot of people who thought Em lost his skill, all i can say is WOW!! The Jim Jonsin track is mad catchy & expect an instant number 1. Sorry 2 u Em haters but he’s back 2 his best, better than expected!
