Ash chops it up with MTV’s Mixtape Daily about his latest offering, Seared Fois Gras w/ Quince & Cranberry.
“I don’t wanna be one of those dudes that’s just like one, two three years, and I’m out,” Roth said, sitting in one of his favorite eateries, Hotel Griffou. “Make a quick dollar. ‘Let me go invest this in real estate.’ I see the opportunity to affect lives in a positive way. I see these 13-year old kids that get a hold of me and be like, ‘Yo, you changed my life.’ Am I 100 percent fulfilled? No. Not even remotely yet. But that’s a good thing. Hopefully, I’mma stick around for a decade and be a voice of the next 10 years. So when people look back, they said I actually added something instead of putting a pop song out that was popular.”

Asher needs to realize he doesn’t really have anything significant to say. What can we possibly learn from a stoned, suburban college kid?
And I’m not just talking about ‘I Love College’ either. In fact, I think I liked him better when that was his only song I knew of. I’ve listened to his album and he doesn’t contribute to my existence in the least. I could forgive him for his empty message if his tracks were a little more interesting and he didn’t take himself so seriously but, come on, who do you think you are, Ash?
who do you think you are man? you think him or any of us give a fuck about ur opinion? ash is dope keep it comin
@CSaid hahahahahahahaha, his album is crap. u wanna learn and grow listen to the greenhouse effect and this new tape from top to bottom. this guys actually tryna make a difference not jus talk about his swag and u got negativity? com on grow up.
i was NOT a big fan of his album.. gave it a couple plays but it had no lasting value for me. that being said i CAN NOT stop listening to seared foie gras since it came out. everyone who has gotten in my car in the past month or so.. hip hop fan or nor, asher fan other not… have been both surprised and impressed by it.
Sad that the one post with some hate on here probably hasn’t listened to the new tape. because the asher they described (empty message, takes himself to serious) is nothing like the asher you hear on this tape.
@CSaid
his album wasnt his music, it was music the label made him make. go listen to his two mixtapes, thats what asher is all about
not*, or* type fast when i get heated

All of the music is from guys like RZA, Dilla, Mad Lib and 9th Wonder, what do you think about these guys?
