  21. There’s a reason why you don’t see Jay, Nas, Em, Andre, etc twittering about their every move and random thought, and I think it’s what Cole touched on: the line between artists and fans. Also, they rely more on their artistry and talent than hype.

    I don’t need to see Budden with a steak on his eye, or watch Diddy eating cereal, or get updates on what Fabolous’ favorite songs off his own mixtapes are today. And If I publicly vented about every single negative thing I had on my mind at any given point in a day, or got excited about shit that had yet to transpire, I’d be completely friendless and alone. Yet, this is how someone like say Game attempts to connect with his fans. And he looks like an even bigger idiot in the process.

    Some people can get away with it. Some just need to stop already.

    He was on one song with Jay period and rarely is even seen with him. It did peak interest to why Jay signed him, but before people even understood Jay-Z’s situation with Live Nation, creating Roc Nation, The Warm up came out and was hot.

    Yet, in comparison since everyone does it. Drake is on songs with Wayne left and Right. J. Cole has less association with Jay-Z than most new rappers and their mentors and his buzz has been slowly growing. He is really good. Also, people hate Jay-Z sooo much. Especially when BP3 came out, so why is he getting so much love if it was because of the “hated Camel”?
