  7. Wow just an awesome song

  8. are you sure Shake? cuz damn this NEEDS to be on the album, thats fucked if the label really took this off his cd

  9. I just don’t see how some people can hate on this guy. He’s putting out real music that anyone can enjoy.

  10. I can’t wait for the album…. he’s an awesome artist

  11. ACOUSTIC GUITAR: THE 5TH ELEMENT OF HIP HOP

  12. just an alll around musician…. he can pretty much rip any genre of music he wants…

  13. wrestle boi wrestle
propz to the dopeboyz u guys work hard 4 us no homo.

  14. iTunes bonus track ftw

  15. the dude is one talented musician not just a rapper….this shit is real music

  16. i really am tired of genres of music being so polarizing, we need artists like Bobby Ray to blur these genre lines. I think that it will make for better music overall.

  17. anybody that says this song is wack is a hater… B.O.B. is very talented & he’s of the few upcoming artists that I believe will have longevity… dope song & performance

  18. ive been on the 60′s 70′s/vietnam in my music for a while now but happy to hear other artist doing it

  19. b.o.b. is that dude but i aint feelin this one

  20. I saw this same track performed live in Atlantic City yesterday and its amazing… B.o.B did his thing.

  21. B.O.B sucks

  22. Yeesh, these B.O.B. lovers stay pointing out how their hero is such a “musician” and “artist” and not just a rapper and how he masters multiple genres

  23. JonnieHayward, as opposed to pointing out your favorite rappers, how they lack the ability to sing, do multiple genres and lack the overall qualities of musicians. Most rappers don’t even make their own beats. Regardless of flow and lyricism, at least give B.o.B props for being a producer as well. What do you nod your head to, the words or the beat? You’re trying to tell me being a musician is bad?

  24. geez if you give a dude props for a song you are dubbed a “lover/all over his jock”? i swear some of you dudes hate on everything that is posted on this website.

  25. “are you sure Shake? cuz damn this NEEDS to be on the album, thats fucked if the label really took this off his cd”

    positive.

  26. Shake, how do we get the bonus songs on his CD? Is that only from pre-ordering it, or do you know if they will come on the CD sold at retail stores as well? I don’t know how bonus songs really work.

  27. @DP and b_lett…nobody is hating on anything,,there’s nothin wrong with him bein a musician but it seems the fans on here want to point it out any chance they get and shove it down any1 that doesn’t like B.O.B.’s shit’s throat…I still look at B.O.B. as emcee, he’s still hip hop, and his album is still hip hop, the fact that he produces his shit and can sing a little and play the guitar doesn’t make him better than any other rap artist…he’s good at multiple genres, not great and hasn’t mastered anything….and some1 tried to compare this man to Elvis the other day like seriously, if any1 should be compared to Elvis it should be John Mayer….I’ve got nuttin against B.O.B. just the fans can get annoyin sumtimes

  28. And just becuz some1 doesn’t share the same taste in music or opinion as u, doesn’t make them a hater

  29. Some of B.o.B.’s fans show how ignorant rap fans are to other genres, you guys act like you’ve never heard someone sing and play guitar.

  30. Lol exactly, they hear a rapper do a little bit of everything for probably the 1st time and all of a sudden they’re so amazed then try to educate ppl that don’t like B.O.B.’s shit on how “great” this guy is

  31. The thing is though, B.o.B is at the roots hip hop, but he really should be considered a real blend of hip hop/ rock/ funk, whatever you want to call it. I’ll just call it alternative. Some people compare B.o.B to other emcees, but I think that’s pointless. You may want to compare B.o.B to Drake or J.Cole or Wiz Khalifa or whoever else is fresh new hip hop, but the thing is, each new artist has their own unique sound. Drake has that “success” banger theme going on, but at the same time, some serious RnB. Kid CuDi has that upbeat party, happy music, but then he has the mellow, loner songs as well. B.o.B has his go buck on haterz bangers, serenades for the ladies, and songs that make you question individuality and freedom. I’m a huge B.o.B fan, but I enjoy all music of all genres, and appreciate versatility. Drake, CuDi, and B.o.B all have versatility. There’s nothing wrong with spitting 3 dope ass verses and leaving the beat in a cemetary. I personally just like a blend of stuff, even if it’s within 1 song. Sorry for the essay.

  32. wait did you just seriously say john mayer should be compared to elvis? or am i misunderstanding you

  33. I understand where JonnieHayward was coming with when he said John Mayer, but jumping back and forth between genres like Blues, Rock, and 15 other genres within Rock to me is not the same as jumping from Dirty South hip hop to Electronica/Dance, to Funk/Soul, to Rock, to Reggae, to infinity and beyond.

  34. ^^^^^^^^^
How isn’t it? Rock covers such a massive amount of different sounds that changing different genre’s in it can be pretty radical. The Flaming Lips, Sigur Ros, Black Keys, and Mastodon can all fall under “Rock” but sound radically different.

  35. I like how BOB is free with his music like how 3000 is (I know he gets that comparison alot but its true). He’s one of the few people who’s album I dont know what to expect but in a good way. Looking forwards to the cd

  36. @yadida…I said John Mayer is a better comparison to Elvis than B.o.B. is (sum1 previously compared B.o.B. to Elvis),,,I’ve respected B.o.B. as an emcee ever since I heard him on Change Gon Come wit Asher and Charles and on I’m Dat Nigga with T.I.,,I don’t think he’s that great wen he drifts into other genres, I like him better when he sticks to stength which is makin a good hip hop song,,I was feelin Don’t Let Me Fall tho…and John Mayer has gone outside of sub-genres within rock multiple times and they turned out to be some of his best work

  37. @The Fucking Truth
I understand what you’re saying, but we’re talking about one person switching between genres. Whether it’s John Mayer or B.o.B, whether or not they switch through genres, they themselves won’t sound radically different. The instrumentation in the genre of Rock in itself stays the same through most subgenres. I understand the use of adding chorus, flanger, phasing, tremelo, and all the to add your own unique sound to guitars. I just notice the difference between synths, brass, piano, and guitar more so than I do a flangy guitar and non-flangy guitar.

  38. Jonnie though i agree with a lot of what your saying, I think your being a bit of a hypocrite dissing B.o.b’s fans when Enemy of the State came out you were completely on Lupe’s dick and making them corny ass lame jokes

  39. @Guest#17…that was sarcasm lol shouldn’t of been taken seriously, around that time there was a lot of Gucci Mane stans and Wayne stans on here so I kinda took it a lil too far til I got bored with it lol I’m not on Lupe that bad, not even my faverite rapper

  40. haha Meka turnin on Shake.. get em

  41. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzIotxV3_jE

not my video but thanks to whoever uploaded. this is going to be an amazing album

  42. When I read about B.o.B having a Vietnam-themed song, I was very sceptic about the concept. For no reason at all, obviously, cause this song is great. It’s a heartfelt, easily understandable song. I really like those.

  43. This track is going to be a iTunes bonus track so don’t worry.

  44. its not about bobby ray being great because he does blend into genres it the fact that he doesnt feel there are limits to where his music can go. When he moves into a more rock or blues style song i dont think he even thinks about it its just who he is. When music has a more open approach, i feel that everyone wins..

  45. B.o.b is a commercial version of K-Os. Also I must state I am one of the biggest b.o.b fans for a while because he brings a hip-hop feel to other genres not because he does other genres but because he brings hip-hop to those genres. Anyways hes not the first to do this. K-os has done this for the past 10 years and is a better musician, lyricist and has a 100x better vocals however he is not as commercial as B.o.b. and IMO I think B.O.B is 100x better when he sings rather than rap. He is a below average lyricist but he can write great melodies which is why I prefer his Bobby Ray stuff.
