It isn’t a ponytail. It’s more of a mullet/mohawk combo. You can tell from the SXSW footage they had posted. The guy is a skateboarder and has his own look. Frankly, I find it refreshing to see someone who doesn’t dress like everyone else. It compliments his musical style and what makes him stand out from a bunch of interchangeable artists. Hate all you want but he’s clearly doing something right — He just signed to Interscope.

yelawolf is the best thing to come out of the south since Fear and Loathing in HuntsVegas and Underground Kingz before that (some may say Gucci Mane, but he’s too hit and miss) If you don’t like southern rap, then move on.
