@ me – the only good song from Wale’s album was Beautiful Bliss cuz of Cole’s verse. I even managed to find a version of the song that only has Cole and it’s edited cleanly so it sounds like a full song.
I liked it. I really like Wale. His album was tipping on the wack side but his mixtapes are great.

i cosign rocky….i actually wasnt really feelin Wale a couple of years back..but i managed to see him at the Mezzanine in SF last year when he dropped the collab tee with HUF. his hype was just buildin…and the dude tore that stage up live…and the Blu & Exile performance before was pretty epic too..but since that show i been a fan.

This song doesn’t sound like a complacent rapper, he mentions in it that pride can get in the way of putting out tracks like this because they can get you labelled as soft or whatever, so it’s cool that he has. Anyway, it’s dope and actually better than several songs on his album, which overall was way too ordinary for a Wale project.
He sampled one of my favourite songs, so yes he can do no wrong with this.

ALL of his mixtapes were dope…his album definitely wasnt as impressive, and a lot of what he’s released AFTER his album have been better than his album. hopefully his next big project, album or mixtape will do him a little more justice and redemption

Having gone through this several times before, I can definitely relate to the lyrics. As far as the joint itself, I’m not a Wale fan. I don’t really understand how he get’s labeled as “hip-hop”. He’s got the look of a real MC with the music of a mainstream one. This song was as commercial/mainstream as it gets. Probably a hit amongst females teenie boppers for sure.
