Yo this track is official…Anything Mike Shinoda touches usually is good. And his producing game is always on point.
Mark Twain Fame said this on April 7th, 2010 at 8:31 am
This is pretty good, I must admit. I wouldnt call myself a CH fan but I loved Fort Minor album, Mike Shinoda hip hop material is usually very good and different.

I’ve always been a fan of Cypress Hill.

Mike Shinoda = wackness. That is all.
8equalsignD said this on April 7th, 2010 at 10:35 am
This is nice.
The new Cypress Hill tracks I’ve heard are strong.
Not a big Linkin Park fan, but recognize Shinoda’s talent.
Archipelago said this on April 7th, 2010 at 10:53 am
Hill is going through a change of style with their “Rise Up” Album and i must say so far from what i got to hear is nothing but Dopeness. And Shinoda always come clean with the production.

(also Cypress Hill)
TropicanaJuice(100%Fresh) said this on April 7th, 2010 at 11:15 am
This is fucking FAIL. This evokes nothing of what CH is about. They need to go back to their roots. Using gay ass Linkin Park wannabes is fucking gay. They’re obviously just trying to get album sales. Having popular people on your tracks sells records but that doesn’t mean it’s good music. LAME.
RHAK ONE said this on April 7th, 2010 at 11:18 am
Great Work!
BTW Whats up with the Fort Minor project? I liked that…

Man this track is so ill, fresh & inspirational! All the leaks from the album so far have been really dope! Can’t wait to cop Rise Up in a couple of weeks!
Lil' Nello said this on April 7th, 2010 at 12:42 pm
Saying this song is a fail because its not like CH older material is pretty ignorant. In interviews they said they wanted to change it up quite drastically from their older stuff, in other words, Evolve, which so far from what I heard, they have definitely done so
drgreenthumb said this on April 7th, 2010 at 12:43 pm
@8equalsignD – if you need to add a ‘pause’ because you have dick on the brain, you’re the one with the issue.
Chuck Illson said this on April 7th, 2010 at 12:50 pm
if Shinoda gets serious with his production then he can easily murder any hip hop producer out there! dude is so fucking talented!
paperchase said this on April 7th, 2010 at 12:50 pm
wanting cypress hill to not expand<<<<<<<
how old are they and you want them to rap about the same shit all the time oh wait that's why jay z still so popular?
Rio$ said this on April 7th, 2010 at 1:03 pm
@Chuck Illson its called a joke. Tell your mom to BBM me. (that was a joke too, i didnt accept her BBM request)
@everyone else that think this track is good — this song is filled with super predictable rhymes and cliches. If Black Eye Peas did this shit, Im sure you wouldnt show love.
And yea, i do want my music to change with the times, but i dont wanna hear CH go emo… its like Wu Tang doing a song about the dangers of marijuana.
*drops mic*
8equalsignD said this on April 7th, 2010 at 1:13 pm
To be accurate, you dropped the mic because you were booed off stage. Jokes and mom jokes aside, you can’t deny you have dick on the brain to even joke about a ‘pause’.
If you didn’t know Shinoda was part of the track, I’m sure you wouldn’t bash as much either.
Chuck Illson said this on April 7th, 2010 at 1:26 pm
wow comment beef? for real? so what if i have dick on the brain, look at my tag, 8equalsignD –> 8=====D
kinda slow, there Chucky.
and did my critique of the song include shinoda? i didnt even SAY shinoda in my entire post! i said in this track CH rhymes were predictable and emo… this shit sounds straight BEP.
thats my opinion. you dont gotta like it.

London said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:08 pm
Yo dis don’t even sound like BEP you retarded, it’s a really good track and Shinoda just makes it better. Everyone hatin’ needs to get da dick out dey ass
who cares said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:09 pm
I wonder if any of these cats that talk any type of negative opinions would really, truly, honestly say that to that initial artists face…tell them that they suck, they wack, you fail cause you are evolving, or going a different route with their sound.
Whats also funny in particular with your comments 8equal is that CH has been doing this slow natural progression for the past few years– gettin more rock influence in their sound, more political and self awareness to their music. I mean they had a damn song called “rockstar” and they also did a song about racial violence with Xzibit called “Black & Brown”…
Mark Twain Fame said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:12 pm
I won’t call them failures, ever- but I definitely liked CH when they were harder. Their style peaked and they know it. They’re switching things up to try to stay relevant, that’s cool. As long as they are still having fun with the music. But like I said, Muggs as producer peaked a long time ago. B-Real still rips it and I like his guest spots, but to name the new shit “Cypress Hill” is a little off to me- it’s a totally different product.
Skylar said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
he says “in one ear and out the other” then says “chip on my shoulder”… are these NOT cliches, guys? Im supposed to think this is dope?
Artists that can change with the times show versatility. i LIKE when musicians do that. Thats not the issue here. This track is not unlike a Gangsta’s Paradise 2010 — cheesy and cliche.
Whatever, yall. Gettin’ butt hurt cuz i dont like a song. smh.
8equalsignD said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
who’s gettin butt hurt, you the one the keep coming back with nonsense rhetoric…u the one who seems like u gettin butt hurt and pissy cause we have an opposing opinion thats different from yours.
*listens to The Wiggles*
Mark Twain Fame said this on April 7th, 2010 at 2:53 pm
eh. i got valid arguments. im for musicians’ progression and versatility. this song is cliche.
all i get back is “you got dick on the brain”.
womp womp
8equalsignD said this on April 7th, 2010 at 3:03 pm
Production is on point. It really doesn’t sound like Linkin Park at all. Sounds like Fort Minor.

Dope as expected, anybody that could really hate on this, much less mike shinoda (Mike > you’re favorite producer and probably rapper too) probably is on some wack shit.

Mike Shinoda is not a good rapper. Get that stupid idea out of your head, man. That’s idiocy.
