  2. This album is gonna be dope, B.o.B always does his thing.

  3. Good day for music.

  4. I really can’t stand this guy. I mean his voice, flow, image, lyrics, and just about everything else. Still waiting on that J. Cole album and I guess until then I am stuck with shit like this. smh…

  5. BOBBY RAY!

  6. This is dope as hell. B.o.B. brings something so fresh to the game.

  7. thanks shake

  8. ILL SONG!!!!

  9. …..

  10. Felling It…B.o.B has mad potential to be a superstars…all riding this album

  11. dont understand the hype guess because he can kinda sing in tune its soooo omg but his raps is just average then u complain about young money fuck outta here your lying to yourself if u think he an amazing rapper

  12. DAMN…

This guy is going to be huge

  13. We get it snagz…u love J. Cole, don’t like B.O.B…..now where’s Rap Bandit and his nonsense

  14. i like the vibe of these leaks.
    this album will be nice.

  15. sounds nice. gonna copped the album when 4/27 hits!

  16. purchased…..

  17. @Complacent don’t see the hype either. not gonna call dude whack but the rap is average.

  18. the difference between him and most of young money is that he knows how to put together good music not random freestyles and autotune anthems

  19. Wow, this guy is talented. Its makes me want to cry :p Can’t wait for the album on April 27th.

  20. i really hate niggas who diss anything that isnt lyrical

  21. Damn this album is full of dope tracks so far…even the single was bearable to listen to for some1 who doesnt listen to the radio at all

I really think this album will be something special…not going to drop the word “classic” because classics are timeless and rare. People seem to throw that word around too much.

  22. No dude’s not the best “Lyricist” in the world, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he can put together a good song.

  23. Another dope fuckin track. Nice

  24. I’m sayin though, if you don’t like shawty why bother commentin the shit?
Don’t nobody really give a damn if you don’t like B.o.B.

  25. Too much stuff happening on this track. lol

I wonder what his 1st week sales are going to be like…40,000-180,000?

  26. I don’t think BOB is wack I’m copping the album, but the raps is average if he wasn’t singing you guys would admit to it. J. Cole actually has a better singing voice than this dude. I’m not a big young money fan but he can’t out rap Tyga or Drake hell even Nicki Minaj its just because they talk about swag n shit you dismiss them. People on this site are more biased than Pac fans

  27. Better art for this single than on the album. If he would’ve replaced that text with his album title it would’ve been a great cover.

  28. More fabreze

  29. I try not to listen to leaks of an album within a month of the release i plan on buying, to keep that new release cd feel. But it’s hard with this one..

  30. noice

  31. music for soft ass niggas born in the 90s hip hop is doomed with this hipster emo shit

  32. Like Snagz I don’t quite understand the appeal of B.o.B as a hip-hop artist. I suppose some view him as a new school Andre 3k but he just falls flat. As a pop artist, Satellites & the non-rap on Don’t Let Me Fall, I enjoy him.

For hip-hop, I’m sticking with other new school cats.

  33. @Complacent
ok exactly you proved everytones point. he may not be lyrical but hes actually saying something, so yea we dont wanna hear that swag shit

  34. @Thomas Realest Words
    lmao coming from someone blogging

  35. HOT!!!

  36. @Nuri…because this is a comment section, where people leave their OPINIONS, whether it be positive or negative, not every1 shares the same taste in music….@Complacent, I bet B.O.B. could outrap Drake on a track, especially nowadays…Tyga on the other hand, no, Nicki yes he’s a better emcee than her too

  37. Cudi sold over 100,000 and that was way after day n nite was on top of the charts, Nothin on You may be the #1 single when this drops. should be getting some good numbers.

    @Complacent
more biased than 2pac fans lmao

I think people like B.o.B. because of his overall musical talent and song making abilities, not just for his lyrics, rapping or singing, but you are right not great an any of those things.

  38. Also, what does it mean to say something?

Every one is making a statement even if you’re statement is not to make one. It’s still a stance. There’s nothing wrong with content about swag but when we’re overdosed with it there is. Likewise, what happens when everyone has a message? The same people complaining about swag will complain about everything being too serious.

  39. flow is crazy on this shit and the chorus is so correct. do ya thing bobby.

  40. Oh man raps not about drugs and guns, what the hell is the world coming to

  41. Hmm… Its being released in less than a month. I’m not gonna listen to it.. I’ll wait and buy the album. Kinda hard though..

  42. Wats up with every1 takin the time to diss hipsters and skinny jeans…I bet those niggas get just as much pussy as fellas that don’t dress like them

  43. B.o.B > Everyone in Young Money

Damn right I dismiss those motherfuckers.

I’d rather not hear about money, swag, and other dumb material shit that is drowning the masses and partially influencing some of our youth.

  44. @james

you can say something without being serious, just look at the majority of kanyes tracks, hes talking about something but still havin fun with it

  45. Drowning the masses? Influencing the youth?

    1. How are tracks like Fear, Successful, Dr.Carter drowning the masses?
    2. The youth are influential but it’s not Young Money’s problem that parents aren’t fulfilling their responsibilities as PARENTS.

Y’all hip-hop elitists kill me. Shit, you’re not even that because this material is basically pop music with some rap on it.

  46. ^Insecurities. I don’t rock skinny jeans but to each is own. That wont stop me from listening to someone’s music.

  47. ^@ JonnieHayward

  48. these hipster emo niggas is fuckin shit up im a product of the early 80s so i know real niggas yall new niggas soft sound like bitches singing about girls and holding protest sings modern day hippes fuck that bring that boombap shit back hood niggas that would beat the shit out of bob if he got on stage singing nothing on you babby baby shit he would have got his kicked here in compton early 90s real talk

    TRW

  49. this shit right here?… toooo dope.

its something different and ppl will hate regardless.
god for bid there is a positive rap song put out that DOESNT glorify cars, girls, money, or $1000 champagne bottles.

this is such a REAL song. its somethin different to jus vibe too. musically creative. and im NOT the biggest B.O.B fan there is by any means at all. but THIS song…two thumbs up — ebert and roper lol

  50. Dope. Definitely fresh.

  51. this shit is so DOPE!!!

  52. @Thomas Realest Words
    alright cube settle down

  53. @ Thomas Realest Words

No need for that e-thug shit. This the internet dude. Made an ass out of yourself with that.

  54. who produced it sounds like Jim Jonsin?

  55. My last words on B.o.B. While I don’t like the cat I hope the radios learn to balance it’s presentation of hip-hop. Too much of one thing will always turn it sour. Too much swag is never good, too much emotions is never good. Hopefully, the radio will one day learn that though it’s unlikely.

Also, y’all should check out Rhymefest street tape. It bangs.

  56. Co-sign James

  57. “Drowning the masses? Influencing the youth?

What the hell are YOU talking about?

It’s unfortunate that you aren’t able to look at the big picture. Think about it and maybe you’ll see. This has nothing to do with hip hop elitism or a difference between hipster and non-hipster, it has to do with a strengthening concern for the community.

  58. Emo hipster niggas?
    Nigga forreal? lol SMH
Go play somewhere with that bullshit.

  59. @ james

you must not have actually taken the time out to listen to b.o.b except for these new songs. not every one of dudes songs is a pop anthem about dealing with shit, just go listen to the b.o.b side on his b.o.b vs bobby ray muxtaoe dude can have fun and just spit too. i mean if your honestly looking for balance that mixtape is perfect

  60. ^^eww fuck yall niggas i an on here how i am in the streets i just use the computer because im on house arrest fucking nerd ass niggas probably watching porn on mute cause your mom downstairs you will never know the real death row era all you get is a rapper with a guitar and turning your music all the way up listen to that boombap shit like the lox some fifty real niggas who put in work an beanie and would shoot a nigga quick shit come out the burbs see how its done out here compton blood we would zip yo mark ass up quick

  61. http://WhoisGSX.com

  62. @Thomas Realest Words

Nigga shut the fuck up and read a book.

  63. Who determines that?

First, the major problem is you’re looking to hip-hop to solve social problems. Hip-hop just reflects different perspectives of reality. It doesn’t solve the issues. It at best has allowed opportunities to exist for people to get out of down trodden economic situations.

Second, from your perspective, it would be better if only true ghetto cats got into hip-hop because it would be best for the community to remove them from the ghetto instead of middle class cats like cudi, drake, j.cole, asher roth, and b.o.b who could easily be doing more productive jobs for the community.

The fact is your argument is an example of why the community is so broken. Stop looking at art for the answer to fixing major social problems.

Note: I’m not denying the power of great music but great music alone has never done anything.

  64. B.o.B & Drake > Lil Wayne & the rest of Young Money
B.o.B has good lyrics just go looking into his mixtape collection and find ‘em

  65. Niggas is play play thuggin like hell.
    Kill yo’self bruh. lol

  66. I love it! I already pre-ordered my album. B.o.B. doesn’t have to be a lyricist like a young money artist he makes good music w/ no gimmicks and speaks the truth. He writes, produces, plays instruments and everything else … now THATS an ARTIST not just a rapper!

  67. ^^^funny thing is you wouldn’t say that to my face i know for a fact i have already pulled a 8 year bid an got a charge pending since i got out in november so it would be nothing for me to break a nigga time aint shit to me you say that shit to my face u wouldnt type on here again cause your fingers be broke bitch im done with yo faggot ass holla at me on my facebook if u down for some offline shit

  68. this dope cant wait to hear the rest of the album

  69. Man this is refreshing…B.o.B. is that dude right now!!

  70. ^^bitch above my post look good holla at me on facebook sweetie thomas realest words

  71. why u gonna come on a song and hate if u dont like dude then simply dont click on his shit and dont bother listening

  72. Instant classic.. Great intro to an album, can’t wait to purches the album.

  73. @Thomas Realest Words

damn bro you really gave yourself away, you are a really bad troll try again

  74. Holy shit, you just entirely missed the point. You’re telling me what I’m looking to Hip Hop for? That’s laughable, it really is.

You’re telling me what Hip Hop is? Maybe you should read what I said again. I never said that Hip Hop should be depended on for anything. But if you do not realize that words are power, then you are sorrily mistaken. All I am saying is that the kids out here today may not have parents, so who do they look up to? The people they hear on the radio, the people that others tell them to listen to, the things that are cool to listen to.
People like Lil’ Wayne were in the same position at that age, and he’s a grown man now, you would think that in his position he would say, “These kids need a positive message” but instead what is promoted is that of materialism, disrespect of women, bragging, and money – whether or not Lil Wayne is really about all of that is not a factor – because the kids will soak it and it will influence them because they cannot discern it. And whether or not you want to believe it, it’s true.

No, the terrible music is NOT the reason the community is broken, but it isn’t helping, and it’s not that it ISN’T helping that is the problem, it’s the fact that it could. The guys at the top of the game have so much power with their words to the kids that look up to them, and instead of promoting a message opposite of what they do, they continue to put out what will be popular because they know that if they don’t, they’ll simply get left behind. In other words, who gives a fuck about whether or not people are influenced in a fashion that could negatively affect their decisions and actions? Right? It’s not their problem, no, they should do whatever they can to make more money.

It takes more than music, but the power of words can definitely be a factor, and I’m saying that instead of helping, it’s not.

I don’t even know where you got the “ghetto cats” thing from. I don’t feel that at all. Anyone can get into Hip Hop, again, I just feel that once they have such a strong power with their words, they should at least try to get a good positive message across to those that are listening to them.

  75. “holla at me on my facebook if u down for some offline shit”
    hahaha funny troll

  76. Lol @ Thomas Realest Words…there’s skinny jean wearin niggas that won’t hesitate to chop your head off or pull a trigger too…I don’t even dress like that but ya stereotyping too much

  77. And jesus fucking christ that was a longer comment than I thought it would be, feel free to ignore it, I don’t give a fuck that much.

TL;DR version: No, you’re wrong. People whose words that have power should use that to promote a good message to those youth who look nowhere else.

  78. lmao nigga leaving essay on comment board get a life instead of writing that shit on a commetn board u aint no teacher

  79. 2DOPE!

  80. Wow this nigga Steve really typed that large ass text wall? lol

  81. Co-sign Steve,,I wish people would look at music simply as music tho and don’t take it so literally

  82. All this hate!! Thanks for the Hate it only motivates!! No matter how many we sell the first week just Know that when this project is over B.o.B will go down as one of the greatest!!! This B.o.B project is like an onion 1 layer at a time. You haterz watch this roll out & learn something!!!

  83. B.o.B is like the Coldplay of hip-hop. He’s corny and tries too hard, but people think its innovative and original, so they buy it.

  84. Ahahah Thomas Realest you’re a clown. From the pen to the blogs, right?

  85. @B Rich

Get off your boyfriends nuts. 10 years from now, nobody will remember B.o.B, thats a fact.

  86. @Steve

you really broke it down i dont think anybody can argue with that one, i remember my pops school using nas i can to help bring social awarness to the kids and they had a big project focusing on it that the kids actually wanted to be involved in. helped about half the class graduate that wouldnt have otherwise. just a small example of what hip hop can do

  87. This song is nice but nothing special from BoB. I know hes got way better shit still to come. But damn, there some goons lurkin on this post. Thomas Realest Words think hes still in jail and can talk about raping guys. GTFO you homo nigga.

  88. these eases my duke devil pain

  89. I just want you Haterz to know I started this movement so keep hating!! get at me @brich404

  90. And why the hell does this sound exactly Satellite and Nothin On You?

  91. this*
    lol fuck

  92. wow fresh.. dont mean to judge YET but Adventures of Bobby Ray > Thank Me Later so far.. lets see

  93. @B Rich

I just want you to know that im gonna bust a nut in yo mammas face tonight and take a picture of it.

  94. ^it doesnt ur just trying to make it sound like them

  95. But don’t get it twisted, I don’t think that all of a sudden if the radio was flooded with music with great messages things will instantly change, not only is it a process but it takes much more than just the music. Music CAN BE a component.

Also, Co-Sign Jonnie, I wish people could just look at music just as music, but more than people, I wish ARTISTS could look at it as music and not a money making opportunity like the artists I’ve been mentioning.

“lmao nigga leaving essay on comment board get a life instead of writing that shit on a commetn board u aint no teacher”

It’s funny, because I could teach you a lot of things, but then again it’s easy to teach to the ignorant.

  96. Beware of the facebook thug… Bitch got daddy issues lol.

Anyway… BoB might not be the best lyricist but he makes interesting music that sounds good and delivers a message. If you don’t like it stop clickin’ on posts with BoB in the title.

  97. Stop hating on Steve.

Steve, I disagree. My argument that you look to hip-hop to address social issues is because you kind of do, “it has to do with a strengthening concern for the community.”-Steve. You keep arguing that it should be positive because it shouldn’t spread negativity which is bad because it’ll promote violence and hinder the community.

You’re essentially arguing all art should be positive because some random kid who’s fucked up might hear it. It’s bullshit. Art has no real purpose other than to reflect life. Some may be positive, some may be negative, some reflect good times, other bad times. That’s the only “purpose” of art.

Yes, I’m “telling” you what hip-hop is by explaining it’s reflective of all of life, just not the positive, where as you’re trying to argue that hip-hop should only reflect positive messages.

Fucked up kids/situations/scenarios will be fucked up kids/situations/scenarios despite the music they listen to.

  98. My momma got Aids!!!!!

  99. @burd

Actually they really do, they all use them same chord progressions

  100. *the

  101. @B Rich

I don’t need to touch your mom to bust a nut in her eye.

  102. Nice song

Did the song leak or is it a single release? If it had leak, maybe the rest of the album will leak out soon ?

  103. Additionally, the only reason I brought up “ghetto kids getting into hip-hop” argument because the best thing for the community is actual change instead of rhetoric. If ghetto kids get out of the ghetto it would be better than having social messages from middle class kids which is essentially preaching to poor folk.

So, to summarise part my argument, what’s better for hip-hop to do for the community:

actually help people that are poor and remove them from their poor situations or have semi-affluent kids rapping about social issues yet not contributing anything besides rhetoric?

  104. I’m not saying all art should be positive, some art is meant to be for one’s self, others, like music is made for other people to hear, so I don’t know why you say art has no real purpose other than to reflect life…IDK where that comes from.

Most of my problems lie in the fact that none of the radio stuff is positive or even carries a message. There should at least be a balance, because I know everything can’t be positive. But at the same time, I stand by what I said. If you don’t honestly think that the words of Hip Hop or any music can’t at least change or help people through times than I don’t know.

  105. His flow has nice swagger. When he gets in like that on a track, he impresses me. Should focus on his rapping and less on his chorus, which are pretty corny and too radio-friendly for me. But he’s doing his thing, i can’t hate.

  106. @B-Rich..your a dumbass, stop using the word “hater” so much, not every1 loves B.O.B. as much as you, deal with it

  107. The fact is, B.o.B is making music with a message. When it comes to music, the only important thing is whether or not you have an impact on someone’s life. Think how music has impacted you? To even bring up record sales and things that don’t matter like that is ridiculous. This kid is going to be huge, because he’s going to actually leave a lasting impact on people, instead of make catchy songs about things that don’t matter. He’s doing it right. He’s making it catchy and meaningful.

  108. this shit is doope!

  109. And to your summarizing: Hip Hop can do both, why not? But they’re not mutually exclusive…Talib Kweli and Mos Def weren’t rich or semi-rich kids on Black Star – Astronomy talking about the togetherness of the black community, they were just like those kids, growing up in the hood. So whether or not they’re rich, semi-rich, or dirt poor, if they have a voice that can get heard, promote a good message, better that than one of materialism and such, right?

  110. My nigga BOB!!! lol good shit

  111. @james

i just wanna say that not every kid who hears it has to be neccesarily fucked up or that the song is overtly negative. i mean if you take a song about dealing crack, shooting people, etc. and pair it with a fucked up kid it can create the same effect as pairing a song about ice and hoes and swag with a normal kid. i mean i know kids around my age who are wayne stans and try and do shit just like him. normal kids who now treat girls i kno like trash and go around using all sorts of drugs and shit. yea theyre not out on the block hustling but their definitely not helping the community

  112. Well, Steve, I don’t disagree with you about the radio which is what I have an actual problem with and not hip-hop. So, on that note, I agree with you that the radio should have more art that reflects a wider range of life which would most definitely include the positive.

I honestly believe art can influence people and times but only as much as the times influence & reflect the people that create the art. Take Sam Cooke singing A Change Is Going To Come. It didn’t just come from nothing, he surveyed the national scene, and then reflected that feeling to the world. He captured life, he captured the times but the music wasn’t created and then change came.

If anything I would say Drake has managed to do something similar when he has his huge buzz (but not on that level Sam Cooke did) which is why people are attracted to his music. That’s to say Drake has managed to capture a part of life in a genuine fashion – the desire to be better, to be richer, to be more than what you are today. Hence, Successful was big.

  113. Very enjoyable. I’ll be purchasing the album.

  114. @apocalypse Word.

  115. I agree, I agree.

I agree with you about Drake, I used to hear his desire in his comeback season days to become something great. I really do feel like it has taken a turn for the worst, however. “And I’m easily influenced by the niggas I’m around,” “I got money to blow,” Even his single over is less about his desire to be there and more about bragging about the fact that he’s made it…and well, IDK.

I am glad I could have an intelligent back and forth, thanks, because a lot of people are well, not smart.

And for all it’s worth, I don’t like any of these new school cats except Blu, J. Cole, and Fashawn. Some of the others I can tolerate, and the rest I’d rather not listen to.

  116. Was I crazy to think Bet I Bust was gonna be the next single cause of the video stills that are all over the net? Oh well….love me some Bobby Ray. Hated Nothin on You but clearly they’re trying to create some sort of pop image for him and he’s not fighting it so whatever. As long as he’s releasing a studio album in the first place which needed to happen a loooong time ago to begin with I’m happy.

  117. Steve, I think you reach my entire argument about hip-hop which it just reflects perspectives of life so it should be able to do both.

To add more counter points or thoughts on hip-hop, why can’t we have hardcore hip-hop music just as entertainment like we have violent action movies? Additionally, what’s wrong with reflecting the truth of some living conditions? Drug dealing, drive bys, beating, stabbings, gangs, murder, etc. is real shit that goes down every day.

And, I agree with you, that it can do both. That’s my argument in a nutshell – hip-hop reflect life. It encompasses everything. I’m just saying there’s a place for it all.

For example, I like Earl Hayes (new Dr.dre/Timbaland protege) quite a bit (despite his poor vocals) because he manages captures the gritty reality of the streets while showing cause and affect from individual choice. He tells it like it is.

  118. Since I typed my last post before I refreshed the page, Steve, it was a pleasure. Hopefully, some fine Internet folks will pass this page and enjoy our conversation.

On that note good luck Mr.B.o.B.

  119. One thing to say about the whole B.o.B vs Drake stuff. I like both, but… who’s album got pushed forward and who’s got pushed back? Just saying.

  120. Corny

  121. b.o.b is good…leave it at that…god damn you can write a book with the length of some of these comments…

  122. Co-sign b_lett

  123. Lol @ B_Lett..that doesn’t prove anything, Thank Me Later still might end up being a better album (though I doubt it)

  124. No-sign b_lett

Not a Drake fan, but he’s been working on his album half as long as B.o.B was, and B.o.B was caught in some label limbo himself for a good year, so your observation is kinda irrelevant.

  125. Young Money artists got lyricists? Since when?

  126. Time working on an album isn’t everything. B.o.B has close to 100 songs already out. You’re telling me these past 3 years he’s been doing nothing but working on his album? Most of his time has been consumed by touring and working on mixtapes. Sure he’s been working on his album over the past 3 years, but don’t think that’s all he’s been doing.

  127. @b_lett

but you talked about their albums being pushed forward/back, when B.o.B’s was pushed back for a whole year from when it was first announced.

  128. good shit!!!

  129. Oh and @b_lett

Drake sold 72,000 copies of a cd he already gave away for free, in a week. What does that say?

  130. After reading all of these comments …..its official…….not gonna even bother listening to this…when’s fashawns “ode to illmatic” coming out. That’s what u muthafuckas should be talkin bout

  131. So Far Gone had 7 songs. If you support releasing anything that short, go ahead. B.o.B released mixtapes with 3 times the amount of songs. Only reason Drake sold that much was because Wayne blew him up so much. Best I Ever Had and Successful are mediocre songs at best. That’s just my opinion on those songs. Drake went hard on Forever and Over. I think people wasted their money on his little EP. Don’t even know how they managed to put that in stores.

  132. Forever and Over are the same thing…just 1 is extended…I’m successful, I’m gonna be successful, bitches love me…that’s all they’re about,,and about 500 other rappers can say the same shit, tell us somethin new

  133. word i got nothin but love for what B.o.B is doing, i think he’s original has some decent bars and has some swag too. i wasn’t feeling him at first pause but dude has proven himself. dude knows how to market himself, play instruments, sing, and rap… what yall hatin for?

  134. o and this song is fuckin’ nice, gonna play this for my girl lol

  135. first DECENT SONG ive heard from BOB in a MINUTE

  136. Young Money is ass period yo! B.o.B is talented and he can rap….not the best lyrically but his flow is nice! homie can do alot of things to such as play music, make his own beats, rap, and sing/hold a note, I pre-ordered the album cuz I feel he’s bringin something original/great to hip-hop and music in general

  137. By the way, for those of you who don’t know, this song right here is produced by B.o.B himself. Quit comparing him to others, there’s no comparing to do. He’s not a rapper, he’s a musician. Quit comparing him to Young Money and “lyricists”. You have to compare B.o.B with rappers, rockers, other producers, shoot, the music industry as a whole. He’s doing it all, give him credit where credit is due.

  138. nice track. He ain’t the BEST rapper, but I love when he uses nice instrumentation in his beats, and he is a pretty good singer as well.

  139. There is no problem with these hip hop artist rapping about drugs, sex money or gang banging, They are just trying to make money and thats what sells. The problem is that there is a large market for this and not the more positive music. It displays the mindset of our country that glorifies the negative aspects of society. The rappers are just taking advantage of it and getting rich, good for them. Any change needs to happen within the homes kids are being raised in not music.

  140. weak… you motherfuckers who have low expectations… drink raid roach spray

  141. he will only sell 40k

  143. Money should never be the end all or the goal of any artist- that’s what fucked up the entire form of music and artistry in the past decade. like technique said, “shoving pop music like a fucking religion”

anyone watch the distant relatives trailer? that one line- “music is the tool, the weapon of the future.” music is all we have left, and though there’s actual artists who are deeply in love with it, who rap about real shit, the bullshit polluting the industry, rap especially, is just fucking sad. B.oB, Lupe, all the original rappers who actually rapped from the fucking heart like pac and big and em, and countless others are being drowned out by pop fucking bullshit. people rapping about indsutry pushed standards, lyricless bullshit jus to make money.

bottom line is fuck that. real artistry is dying, and something needs to happen fast. again, like technique said- “going platinum has nothing to do with luck, it just means a million people are stupid as fuck.”

  144. THIS IS MUSIC

  145. It’s good, but doesn’t it have the exact same chord progression as Ghost in the Machine?

  146. You’re essentially arguing all art should be positive because some random kid who’s fucked up might hear it. It’s bullshit. Art has no real purpose other than to reflect life. Some may be positive, some may be negative, some reflect good times, other bad times. That’s the only “purpose” of art.

james said this on April 6th, 2010 at 1:01 am
<<<<That wud be true if it were just art. but its more than art now its controlled propaganda alot of the times. its a commodity.
who defines art (mite aswell throw that out there)???

  147. chorus sounded like keri hilson knock me down. yes it did.

  148. This is his best track. But still too corny for me. pure cheese.

  149. If by controlled propaganda you mean an easy way to make money then sure I agree. People running label marketing teams got lazy and clearly are uncreative when it comes to hip-hop.

  150. i dont think the label is tryin to market b.o.b as a pop artist cuz he’s been makin songs like this his entire career. u rally cant pigeon hole b.o.b into one category. just by havin lovlier than u, satellite, bet i, ghost in the machine and nothin on u, u have a r&b, pop, hip hop, alternative, and a soft rock feel all in one album. b.o.b is a MUSICIAN. if he actually sat down and focused on just doin one genre i believe he would be a beast

  151. Wow these b.o.b. fans love pointing out how versatile their hero is

  152. “We get it snagz…u love J. Cole, don’t like B.O.B…..now where’s Rap Bandit and his nonsense”

    exxxxactly.
If you’re looking for that “lyrical”, “killin’ shit” flow, this is not the song. It’s obvious he was going for a diff vibe, and succeeded greatly. There will be the tracks on the album where he goes insane. Guarantee it. When he REALLY starts rapping, better watch out. The point is, he IS a musician, like a lot of ppl are saying. GTFO if you don’t like good music.

  153. “Oh man raps not about drugs and guns, what the hell is the world coming to”

    hahahahhahahahah. Very nice.

  154. FUCK ALL OF U
If U LIKE HIM THATS GOOD FOR U
IF U HATE THEN GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE DONT LISTIN TO HIM DONT TALK BOUT HIM DONT THINK ABOUT HIM YALL BITCH ASS HATERS YALL HATE HIM CUZ U CANT BE LIKE HIM IN SHORT FOR ALL OF U STUPID ASS HATERS FUCK OFFFFFF

  155. smh at the niggas who dont accept him as his own artist

  156. Until B.o.B drops some “A Life in the Day” type verses, the Andre 3000 comparisons really need to stop. He alright, but he can’t compare to 3 Stacks

  157. It aint his best, but it aint his worst (*cough* Nothing On You) But i like it. I’m still anticipating the album. Hoping he don’t disappoint me like Cudi did

  158. incredible song. looks like alot of good music’s on the way this yr

  159. Lol @ FuckHaters…its called a opinion don’t get so offended when some1 disagrees with you

  160. the chorus is doo-doo, but the verses are hot

  161. smfh some of you bitch asses don’t appreciate good music these days.

  162. To everybody hatin on the man – He just does his thing. He doesn’t want to be about drugs an fuckin hoes an sellin keys, so he doesn’t make songs about it. He makes songs about what he likes. And to the guys like Clipse an them who do make songs about sellin keys and fuckin hoes, much respect to them too, they do their thing.

People turn the whole music/message of the music thing into WAY to big of a deal, artists make music that reflects who they are. And well… *Jay voice* If you can’t respect that ya whole perspective is wack*

  163. shit is wack, Drake>>

  164. shit sucks…what kinda weirdo bumps this shit

  165. b o b never was on the game to fall off , i keep telling people this guy should be taken seriously

  166. It seems like the album is gonna be a mix-up of B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray, just much shorter. He does kinda sound like a hip-hop Coldplay mixed with Andre 3000. And to all the Drake comparisons, they’re not really too similar, so theres no way you can really say that one is MUUUUUCH greater than the other, but thats why opinions are what they are. I say its good to see this kinda diversity in hip-hop right now. There’s a broad enought spectrum of artists to where everyone can get a good dose of what they’re lookin for. So i’m not trippin on the state of hip-hop. Its just goin thru some much needed evolution

And stop wit the internet thuggin, shit ain’t even whats up…at ALL

  167. Great Song. Mellow mood.

  168. this guy is mad corny and unoriginal. he’s trying to impersonate andre 3000 and is failing miserably.

  169. I don’t get the Andre 3000 comparisons. Maybe with the flow, but the overall sound of the song, no. I own a lot of Outkast’s old work and B.o.B’s stuff doesn’t sound like that. To call B.o.B unoriginal is just bullshit. Name one artist that he sounds like? His music is too broad to sound like any one thing. This song just has a different vibe to it, meaning it is indeed original.

  170. DAMN…..LOVE this song. perfect intro

  171. since when the fuck is rapping or singing about real emotion corny and unoriginal? learn what real music is stupid fucks.

  172. i can see why ppl dont like b.o.b.
but too me hes really dope.

  173. @Thomas Realest Words you are a fucking joke its obivious that you a troll cause the type of music you talking bout aint even on this website so why would you be here

  174. this honestly is better than young money and weezy..this is real rap that actually makes sense and sounds good.

  175. people are complaining about everything if rappers arent talkin about swag then its too serious then if its a song about swag then its garbage…listen to whatever you want to thats why theres so many music choices out there!!
