I know what you mean. And honestly if B.o.B. really embraces Country music he could become America’s biggest star because country and hip-hop pop music sell the most records. But even now focusing more short-term I see B.o.B. as an artist that comes a long every once in a while and flips the hip hop scen, like DMC NWA 50 cent or Kanye.

B.o.B already got a single that’s popular in the radio’s and once his album drops in about 3 weeks, there’s a good chance he’ll sell 100K or more, if he’s lucky!

People need to calm down with the B.o.B comparisons to Elvis and saying he’s mastered and classified under every genre. I mean don’t get me wrong, the guy is extremely dope and I have no doubt the album will be sick. But the dude is not spectacular in any of the genre’s he’s a part of, he’s an ok rapper, and he has a decent singing voice, but lyrically and technically he’s pretty basic. Also he’s a good guitarist, but he’s not hanging with any rock heavy weights, or even really middle weights. Don’t think Im hating, because like I said, he’s a good artist, but some of these comments are bona fide dickriding. The only gripes I have about the album are that we’ve already heard like 1/3 of it, and I kinda wish he got some better rock collaborations. Weezer has fallen off hard post Maladroit (thats not even opinion, thats just a plain fact) which has a lot to do with Rivers Cuomo’s song writing and although Paramore is okay for a emo/pop/punk group, Hayley Williams is not a great singer.
The B.o.B. feat Eminem and Hayley Williams track seems so fucking weird haha. Up until I heard the rumor that B.o.B. and em were doing a track like 2 months ago, I would have NEVER thought of those two doing a song together. Then you throw in Hayley William who in my opinion does not seem like a fit at all to be on a track with em or B.o.B. I can see that track being a radio hit, with all the genre’s its hitting with those artists.

First I want to address Brocho Cinco, I understand you are not hating, but Cudi is one of the most popular artist people play at parties. I am in college right now and just about everyone I know, regardless of college, parties to Cudi at their school, that’s a fact. I understand the rest of your pint though.
On to B.o.B , I have all the guys mixtapes and “unreleased” songs and i have been following him for a couple years now so I will say I am a little biased, but I think this CD will live up to it hype. The most disappointing thing about the album is that we have heard a quarter of the songs already.I was planning on not listening to any of the song before it came out, but then I saw I already have memorized the lyrics for a quarter of them.
Lastly, I hate Paramore so seeing that girl on it brings questions to my head. On the other hand Weezer is my 3rd favorite band (behind Wilco and Spoon) so the Rivers feature is a good look(Weezer has fallen off, but they still bring it at times).It will hopefully be a nice eclectic sounding CD. Once we all hear it we can judge it.
