Umm Joell Ortiz can NOT afford a Bmw, Benz, or Bentley. Ok maybe a 3 series Bmw or a C class Benz but that’s it. I mean don’t let rappers fool you most of them wear fake diamonds, rent their homes, and don’t drive $100k cars. There is only a few rappers who make real good money Jay, 50, Eminem, Kanye, Diddy, and Wayne. The rest of the rappers are either struggling or just comfortable financially. Then ‘new’ rappers make a big deal about signing a $1 million contract. Ok first of all almost half gets taxed so that’s only $600k left. In todays time that money isn’t shit.
Basically what I am trying to say is dudes need to stop living in a fantasy thinking they will become insanely rich by rapping and go to college. Even if you got lucky and did get a “whip and a chain” deal from a label it’s short money. What happens when your money runs out and you can’t get another deal? Then you will be a bum the rest of your life. A college degree will never go away you will always be able to make good money.
