    get at me when he breaks his same old tired mold. every movie has the same elements. huge black family/group. someone has issues. sad moment. family fun time.even more sadness. some statement about overcoming _______ obstacle, family fun time to wrap it all up in the end. tie a bow on it and you’re done.

    i just want to see something different from the older looking jason campbell before i get excited.

    is it too much to ask for just a straight up comedy without all the hard drama elements? too many times in his movies, you can pick out when keenan ivory wayans is gonna jump in and scream out “MESSAGE!”

  22. I honestly don’t remember a time when people ever thought Tyler Perry movies were any good. The reason people think he’s a terrible director (which he is) and he makes terrible movies (which he does), is because its become blatantly obvious he makes these terrible pieces of garbage for the money. Its like those horrible films made by the scary movie guys (date movie, disaster movie, what ever the fuck other movie they’ve put out) nobody calls it “hate” when you say those movies suck, its just a fact that they do. Tyler Perry movies are just as culturally poisonous as the movies made by those Scary Movie people.
