Anyway, We all know that J. Cole is one of the few actual lyricists to receive any type of media acclaim. I’m just glad his progression has been the way it is. I hope he releases something to the masses soon. Gotta love how stingy he is with his music saturation.

  17. “heatin up like MAY-WEATHER dog i’m on that Floyd shit”

    excuse me….

    …. game over

  18. can’t wait for the MP3 of this, J. cole is the future, Drake is the next nelly, had spark with those looney tune tracks, then he’s gonna fall off.

  19. Damn Jay better not do him dirty and steal his flow, like he did to young chris

  20. he fuckin kilt this cant wait for the actual song

  21. Yo this sounds like a it may be his first single off the album. I think “Lights please” maybe on it since that’s his radio hit right now from his mxitape. But yo this track sounds dope as shit.

And did I just here a sample from Outkast’s SpodieOttieDopaliscious song. I cause I know I heard Andre at the end.

  22. GOD DAMN YA MAN HOV. that shit sounded craaaazy. catchy hook to, this might be single material. beat was on some Timbo shit. WOWZASSSS

    *listens again*

  23. 2nd verse is soundin like the verse of the year, of course until the blow up drops.

  24. now im on televsion, and did i fail to mention? ur bitch is tired of missionary dog you failed the mission………….

is there any doubt that his cd will be an INSTANT CLASSIC?

  25. maaaan dude blacked out in the 2nd verse. alll wee need is the big homie Jigga to come through and swag surf the 3rd verse, and we got a certified hit.

  26. Hahaha at “Drake who” you’re the only one who mentioned him so seems like you’re not fogetting him anything soon. I have yet to listen to J Cole but I will go through his tapes any see if he’s all he’s hyped up to be. Any songs worth listening to(not on his tape)?

  27. peep “Playground” and “knock on wood” ^^^

  28. J. Cole’s stage presence is getting really good. In my opinion, he looks more comfortable rapping than most of the new rappers. He is becoming BEYOND a force to be reckoned with. I think he is finally becoming comfortable with who he will be down the line.

  29. Holy shit.

  30. J Cole is a monster. I don’t even know what else to say…

  31. Damn J.cole had like 4 post and none with a mp3 link. I need to hear some new material from dood but this will do for now.

  32. dope track!!!

  33. j muthafukin cole!!!!! fuckkkkkk

  34. GET HOVA ON THE 3RD VERSE!!!!

And it’s produced by ELITE & J. Cole

  35. Decent verses from J Cole, I can’t follow the chorus thou, something not right with it? Give Rapper “Big Sean” a magazine cover
already Lol. Drakes O.k for the record!

  36. I like the verses but HATE the hook. The hook is everything that is wrong with hiphop these days it’s dumbed down and not creative. “Who dat, who dat, bitch I got that swag, so don’t worry bout my mothafuckin name”? Wtf was that? I would expect that bullshit from a lot of rappers but J. Cole? God this is disappointing and I really hope this isn’t a sign of what his album is going to be like.

  37. Well he is still kinda unknown to the mainstream audience but he couldve left the S word (“swag”) out of the hook tho

  38. lol the hook isn’t a big deal. Even the best rappers get random RnB chicks on their hooks so who cares if J.Cole straight rapes the verses while goin for a “simplistic” (catchy?) hook? He’s basically appealing to a greater audience WITHOUT selling out.

    Niggas need to relax, jheez.

  39. Yea Snagz was a little over critical,,I’m definitely not worried about his album because of this hook…kind of holding him to Lupe or Nas standards, if we hear 1 of them EVER spit a hook like that then hip hop is official dead

  40. ^^ Having a r&b hook is WAAAAAAY different then yelling “who dat, who dat” over and over as your hook. lol I am a HUGE J. Cole fan and with that said NOBODY can tell me that hook was even kind of good. Oh and how are you going to say the hook isn’t a big deal? The hook is what makes the song, that’s what seperates good songwriters from bad songwriters. Ask all the rappers who spend mad $$$ to have somebody write a hook for them how important it is.

  41. J. Cole aint the best songwriter anyway tho,,,he’s better at just straight spittin..same with Curren$y they can just flow for days

  42. he doesnt say “swag” in the chorus listen to it again

  43. yeah he said we got that “flame”, i didnt hear swag in the whole song, damn yall nitpicking and shit, the song hot point blank period, the nigga cant be stopped

  44. i swear if it wus up to these c-section, hip hop would b borin as shit. every single line has to b ”conscious” shit, and exactly how it wus in the 90s…

anyways, DOPE track, this dude is a beast and im actually SLIGHTLY anticipatin his album more than kanye’s just because i wanna see wut he brings to the game.

  45. J. Cole !!!! That joint go hard, beat is hard as fuck, the hook is cool but the verses, nice creativity and the flow is rugged. That’s what the fuck is up.

    Drop the fucking album !!!

  46. I listened to the hook a couple times and I can’t tell what he is saying exactly. I would go with “flame” just cause it rhymes with “name”. We will all know the words clearly once the mp3 drops.

  47. thats shit was niceee

  48. lol,the bandwagon must be super big at this current time,I’m glad he doesn’t have any features on the album too

  49. this shit ounds so dope. j. cole is the future.

  50. Hopefully more tracks from the album leak and he performs more songs during this college tour comin up…

  51. there is NO up and comer fuckin wit j cole right now. period.

  52. =0

  53. J cole is dope I like him he has my respect more then drake drake is too cocky

  54. love j. cole cant wait to see him at rutgersfest!!! check http://ineedm0ney.wordpress.com

  55. J.COLE!!!!!! this nigga’s a problem yo and has been a problem, song id dope as fuck and Hov on the 3rd verse would be crazy

  56. Is that andre 3000′s voice at the end????
