Yeah I remember this came out after Wale’s version did. Rhymefest put it out because he wanted people to know that Mark Ronson “originally” made this track for him. The actual production is a bit different than before.
This came out right after Wale’s, then those two had a bit of a twitter fight.
rhymefest can’t touch wale’s version of this song. wale spoke truth on that song, it’s insane that it wasn’t on the album. one of my personal favorite wale songs he’s put out (mainly because the lyrics are above par, which isn’t exactly the norm for wale)
