they are his personal inspirations. They don’t have to be 15 year old classics just because that’s what we’re accustomed to seeing people put in lists like these.

How the fuck are “i wanna rock” and “successful” failures. Those are good songs for pump up but loosers like you guys wouldn’t know. This is a good list. Its kinda ironic that “dont need your love” is up there cause recently ive been listening to that. Fuck the haters, Nipsey is a true entrepreneur.
I think hes saying fail because hes been rapping/making an album since before those songs were even out and werent actually what inspired him.

This list really fell apart there in the middle, but Nipsey’s my dude. He’s not like the illest rapper that ever lived, but I like his character. He knows how to balance his street shit out with a little intelligence, without being an all the way Drake….I mean fake.

Drake pretends to have a southern accent when he raps to sound more authentic. I mean, everybody does it to an extent, but he just takes it too far.
