For the most part the New West is embarrassing. You’ve got 90 imitation rappers (jay rock = tupac; nispey = snoop; game = dre). Then you’ve got MC’s who are hell of talented but got caught up in the industry horns and trickery (Bishop Lamont & Crooked I). Then there’s other fad rappers who are actually embarrassing (Ya Boy “rockstar” shit).
Clearly, I listen to most of the new artist and I enjoy select works from the group. I’m a huge fan of Bishop, Crooked, and Game. Fashawn is dope. Get Busy Committee is ill.
That’s not to say I have not enjoyed a Jay Rock & Nipsey track before because I have but for the most part they just come off as imitations and unoriginal. Given time I’m sure they’re prove me wrong. Nispey’s recent track I Will Never Lose was really dope.

I think that this song is decent but far from a first single quality. I know it’s unfinished, but it just doesn’t have much substance to me.
