It has been confirmed that Jun Seba, the acclaimed Japanese Hip-Hop producer and DJ who performed under the name Nujabes, died in Japan February 26th, following a Car Accident.
He was the founder of Hydeout Productions, a label from which he released several sought-after underground Hip-Hop recordings, projects that featured American underground artists like CL Smooth, and Five Deez. He also worked with the popular Neo-Soul artist Dwele.
He will be miss heavily

it was just announced recently. today i believe. it happened in Japan too, so maybe that added to it. one of the best producers ever. r.i.p.
back to the post though, erykah badu is one of my favorite artists. the new album sounds like it’s gonna be good. can’t wait to get this in the mail.

Haha don’t get butt hurt Black Boy, I’m just saying. There are a couple Gems here and there but the last two albums have been just alright compared to the rest of her body of work. Listen to the last two albums and tell me they stand up to Baduizm, Mama’s Gun and Worldwide Underground. I think she’s just picking whatever beats instead of making sure the marriage between the two work.
