Apparently Curtis is taking the “Ghetto Techno” route…
While in Bergen, Norway, 50 says he was influenced by the uptempo club sound that he heard in the nightclub while partying after his show. He says he went into the studio with his live band and made a whole new track and finished 2 others for his upcoming album Black Magic. According to him, fans should expect the ‘unexpected’ on the new project. He had talked about this project for the first time backstage at the 2009 AMAs.

i actually did buy bisd and so did alot of people. how do u think that he lost alot of his fans? by folliwing trends and going on that pop shit with the massacre then doing it even more with curtis. grodt was one of the best selling hip hop albums because he made good music that was also catchy so everybody could get with it. he did the same with bisd, and it would have sold like crazy if he never would have took that detour with those pop albums. im not even that big of a 50 fan but ur a fool if u think that pop shit is what made him

Ghetto Techno is a dope track but I did not like the reference track 50 did for another artist. The techno-rap sound is new for Americans but it’s been done already. It’s about time USA caught up with the rest of the world.
althogh the massacre was actually a decent album, it sold soley off the hype from get rich or die tryin. curtis sold off of the massacre and because of the album race with kanye which definitely helped it sell more, but it still sold the least from his other albums because of how pop it was. then he releases before i self destruct and it sells low because no one has any type of expectations from him since hes become more and more pop as he went on. im all for a artist trying new things and opening up their sound, but too many people compromise themselves and their music completely and change just for album sales. i mean waynes rebirth sold just over 100,000 its first week, where tha carter 3 sold over 400,000 in a day and over 1,000,000 in a week. see whats going on here
