I looked in my iTunes and only have 5 songs he’s featured on. Maybe I might be missing some but that’s a lot less than a lot of rappers I know of. Not that there’s anything wrong with doin features, or puttin out music but it is easy to over saturate yourself.

Yeah I definitely appreciate Cole’s output, doesn’t piss you off because the lack of it (Jay Electronica), but it keeps him in your mind and makes you excited for his next track.

I hate when people pass along their opinion like it is the end all, be all, chiseled in stone law. J. Cole is twice as big as he was this time last year or more. Just because you believe he has no charisma doesn’t mean that others. He has hunger and his guest spots are always nice. He out shined Wale (In my opinion, On Beatiful Bliss and Rather Be.) on his own tracks and on others’ tracks he usually dismantles too.
J. Cole can blow, it’s up to him. I think he will blow if only from the Jay-Z shout. If not this year or next, but in three years he will be huge.

I think Drake said it once that he don’t stay on twitter cause you don’t want fans thinking you have too much free time. Niggas liek Wale and Joe Budden be on twitter all day every day and put out a BUNCH of eh tracks. People put two and two together.
J. Cole releases few and far between and doesn’t oversaturate you with his presence via twitter or hoppin on every beat. Keeps me excited to hear his music. And while there have been misses, he’s been significantly more consistent than 90% of these other rappers.
Buddens be talkin about his b.s. relationship problems on twitter. It just makes you realize he’s kinda a loser that can rap. You need to have some what of a mystique that separates you from the average dude.
