oh god… more ignorant bs… they need to bring the real freaknik back… not this crap… rick ross is playing security right?
actually the real freaknik should never be brought back either… the celebration of black college students and ignorant idiots looking for college cooch…
I thought I was seeing shit the first time I saw the commercial for this on Adult Swim. Of course, Adult Swim is the only place where I would expect to see an animated musical about Freaknik. I didn’t know they had all of those people on the cast, though.
this thing is gonna be raw and hilarious, can’t wait
@THE RAP BANDIT Especially not with this generation. They might as well name it “Rapenik”
Coonery…this is why we lose.
i found it funny when drama had a real gun for sound effects *shrugs*
drama pulls out pun
*dead*
and lighten up not every show thats meant to portray black sterotypes is coonery, especially when the actors are black and making fun of themselves. i bet if someone white said that squidbillies was racist everybody would say how its not unless ur a hillbilly well same gos for this, u shouldnt be offended unless u act like that. im not sayin itll be good or anythin but…im just sayin
True History > Coonery > that fake ebonics shit “Black Americans”(Mos Def, etc) teach you about. SO FUCKKK YOU LOUIS FARRAKHAN, REV. WRIGHT, AL SHARPTON, and JESSE JACKSON.
*I’M IGNORANT*
This is going to be hilarious, I’ve been looking forward to this for months, too bad That Crook’d ‘Sipp apparently had to get canceled for this to get made. And that Squidbillies comparison above me is spot on; the only c word that applies here is comedy. I mean really, is exaggerated lusting over money, clothes & ho’s strictly a black phenomenon? (the answer is no)
oh and this is completely unrelated but i first heard the p.o.s. album yesterday and today and its fuckin dope, highly recommended
dopeeeeeee
I wonder if it will be worst than the David Banner cartoon that was on Adult Swim a while back. At least this isn’t live action. Adult Swim has some of the worst shows that are live action, like that Tim and Eric show. Fuck that shit.
lil wayne as jesus is too funny yall…the last supper scene had me rolling
Everyone sensitive nowadays.
This is just some fun shit they whipped up.
Calm down and quit acting like you’re too enlightened for this shit because we all know you aren’t.
“actually the real freaknik should never be brought back either… the celebration of black college students and ignorant idiots looking for college cooch…”
Am i missing something?? What’s wrong w/ that??
I don’t know. I do think people are overly sensitive when it comes to stuff like this, but you have to understand that generations of African Americans civil rights era and post, are increasingly prideful. And anything that even seems to denigrate our race goes under a very sensitive microscope as it should. At the same time the people who produce, and make these shows have to understand that there are ways to make cartoons and black comedies, that don’t offend in the least bit. Just as there are shows for and about other races that would never even question the comedic validity or the intentions. Just based on that clip people rightfully or wrongfully are going to have an issue regardless, and that’ll take a way from ANY positive message it may or may not carry. *Essay Over* Back to rap
I’ll be watching [adult swim] can do know wrong in my eyes.
I’ll watch it..Adult Swim ftw
oh and Tim & Eric is hilarious
smoke a blunt, and laugh
Tim and Eric kick ass. I can see why people dont like it, but its a brilliant show. Its far more than it is on the surface. Great satire on the media as a whole. Im not lying, a black version of Tim and Eric would rock!
I applaud those of you who have the insight and ability to break down “freaknik” to point out some key issues of concern that were embedded in the show. However, given its target audience I’m sure most lessons were lost in translation. Once again America has embarked in the slave trade the “pedaling of black flesh” for profit. Has anyone taken note that all of these oversexed, drug using, crime promoting images are coming from men and women in their 30s and 40s but being pitched to the 20 and under demographic? All done for profit. How dare T-Pain or anyone else, kill off Al Sharpton (symbolic or otherwise) degrade Bill Cosby, Jesse, or Ophra Winfrey?! Until T-Pain, or any other of these coonin entertainers make a difference or long lasting contribution to the Black Community, KEEP YOUR DISRESPECTFUL MOUTHS SHUT.

This shit is stupid and undermines the black people. It makes you all look like all the steriotypes. I get the whole its just jokes but the boondocks can do all that without degrading black people and it is still funny. It shows the lines and that some people will surprise you while others are just the same. And besides all that it is just plain stupid if it didn’t have a bunch of big names supporting it it would of failed more then it already has. Oh by the way AUTO TUNING IS NOT SINGING! These people have no talent what so ever the just change their voice they are all worthless artist. The only one I respect is Snoop Dog because he not as arrogant and is actually a normal dude. His music isn’t that bad either he actually keeps it old school which is when the music was good.
man for all yall uptight muhfuckas up there, kick rocks. This shit was exactly what it was meant to be, FUNNY! Anybody with a sense of humor knows that “stereotypes” are a driving force in comedy. The music was off the chain and i laughed my ass off. In no way does this “set black ppl back”. This wasnt some PSA or documentary about african american behavior. Its meant to be funny and if you too sensitive to watch without being offended, turn the channel, simple right?
