Young Jeezy Brings Out Lil Wayne in NYC (Video)

During the sold out show at Madison Square Garden for the BP3 Tour w/ Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Trey Songz.

Jeezy came out about 45 minutes into Jay-Z’s set to perform “Real as It Gets.” Hov then turned the reins over to Jeezy, who threw out a few of his street-approved rhymes, like his verse on Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know.” Jeezy told the crowd that his friend Lil Wayne was supposed to go to jail that day, but a courthouse fire delayed his sentencing on weapons charges once again. Jeezy said he wanted to bring someone out to dedicate a record to him. Nicki Minaj then came out and did her verse from “Bedrock.”

After the song, Jeezy told Nicki to stay, and the beat for “I’m Goin’ In” came on. Lil Wayne then emerged from the mini-stage where Jay’s Roc Boys band was playing and jumped on the main stage with Jeezy. The concertgoers — who were already on their feet — gave the New Orleans native a phenomenal response. Wayne’s face lit up as he rapped his verse.

Hit the jump for Hov’s performance of Run This Town.

I’m sure there will be an abundance of footage from this show come tomorrow morning/afternoon. The tour stops in Vegas later this month but I’m leaving the flip at home. I still like to enjoy shows.

  8. the people love weezy, and thats fact.

  9. FUCK CASH MONEY……YOUNG MONEY ALLDAY

  10. you people only love weezy while he is hot… one day he will be the same way as how you look at 50 now…

  11. this man does not stop working.

  12. Man, Jay-Z does NOT fuck around when it comes to putting on a performance. The fact he just brings out big name artists like this is crazy. I seen his Madison Square Garden Show and it was phenomenal, the guys a living legend regardless of BP3.

  13. wish i was there

  14. i knw the concert in ny where their are more white people wit money but was it a majority white crowd?? neva been to a jayz show just asking, Trey songz dont get no love on this tour either i aint seen no videos of his performances

  15. lmao aint nunthin but white people up in there.. thats wut buyinhg there music anyway.. wack ass show

  16. now yall playing “its only white people there that fuck with them” card?

man niggas is so ignorant its sickening.

  17. thats dope. regardless of if you like weezy, given the circumstances of the sentence being pushed back a day due to a fucking fire, which leaves him in NY the night of a hov concert. then he goes out a kills it one more time before he goes to jail for a year. crazy storyline.

  18. when wayne dies and genrations read about him, his overrall story is gonna be crazy. bigger than b.i.g., bigger than pac

  19. @ word

    why?

  20. drake is gay hahaha

  21. you people only love weezy while he is hot… one day he will be the same way as how you look at 50 now…

Wayne was dope before 50 came along, I dont think many people regarded him for rapping prowess anyway,(It was more his hustle and his story) Wayne has always made better music (Dude was basically cemented as one of the greats for Carter 2 and everything before that…at least down here in the South anyway) and unlike 50 regardless of what you say about Wayne I think its hard to say he doesnt love music. Idk that I ever felt that Fif gave a damn about music other than the fact that it was getting him rich legally.

  22. so glad to say i was there, fucking amazing. im not a huge wayne fan but when he came out, fucking lost it. and i really interesting thing, trey brought out fabolous, jeezy brought out nicki, drake, wayne, and akon, and jay-z didnt bring out anybody, i thought that was kinda surprising. still the best concert i have ever been too

and to the people wondering if it was a primarily white crowd, there were prob more white people then you would find in other places, but it wasn’t primarily white at all

  23. I like Waynes passion for music..but dude is overrated. For me he is quantity over quality. Don’t get me wrong he has good songs but not a whole catalog off them.

  24. Co-sign @Zombie

  25. wow… just wow
would have loved to be there

  26. did this guy really say wayne is going to be bigger than big and pac??? wow. i’m not sure whats crazier, that or the guy who was playing the “only white ppl fuck with them” card. C’MON SON!

  27. Wow. How come the title doesn’t say he brought Drake out too? Haha I was watching it and then Drake shows up.

That’s awesome I wish this would happen more. So many features in rap people should tour and perform together more often. Or just show up because it makes for great moments like this

  28. you didnt mention drake featured in the vid too haha
lol no love for YM’s white knight?

  29. I really doubt any one will ever touch biggies or pacs legacys
they stood for something PAC is bigger than rap while Wayne is great no doubt about it but he’s only got like 5 years left no stuntin

  30. so yeah…drake’s there too..?

  31. LEGENDARY

  32. that shit just made me pause 4real. as a nigga who dreams of shit like that and saw wayne during the I Am Music Tour…..man, like dude said, that’s legendary. wayne can be number one of all time. he’s story is big like that
