Nicki Minaj and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could become the best of friends very soon.
As previously reported, Vick recently reacted to Nicki’s BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher punchline. The Queens femcee closes her verse by offering, “I’m killin’ these b**ches, Mike Vickin’ it up.”
“That’s a crazy punchline, Nicki,” Vick told BET.com. “That’s hot. But, it’s got to be used in the right sense. But yeah, I’m a big fan of Nicki Minaj.”
It turns out that Minaj is also a big fan of the NFL superstar.
“My response to Mike Vick after he heard my cypher line is that I’m a fan of yours too and I’m so happy that you were a good sport,” Minaj told BET.com during BET’s Rip The Runway this weekend. “I told everybody cause I was like, ‘what, Mike Vick knows what I said and whatever.’ It’s so crazy ’cause sometimes you don’t even correlate the two worlds, like sports and music, but they always intertwine. So I wasn’t even thinking that he would ever even hear it, but that’s just silly me. I think he handled it very well and it made me really interested in him after I heard his response to me.”
