Last night I attended a listening session for Consequence’s upcoming two projects, Music On Demand and Cons TV. I’ll admit that, after hearing some of the tracks that’ll be on both projects, I’m wondering why ‘Quence hasn’t blown up yet, because he played essentially nothing but heatrocks during the entire thing.
The most intriguing/interesting/however you wanna call it thing, however? During the entire session, it felt as if I was looking directly at Kanye West and not Dexter Mills due to the mannerisms and energy he exuded. Whether ‘Ye’s inspired by ‘Quence or the other way around, it’s somewhat fascinating to see the influence being spread throughout the G.O.O.D. cohorts.
Music On Demand drops March 15th, while his music video with Asher Roth drops this week. Props to Digiwaxx and TeLisa D. for the footage.

Is music on demand an album or mixtape?
that’s that chi-town swag you see in those mannerisms.
Oh and whens his next Its the Cons series part coming out?
damn… it makes since though, quence hasn’t blown cause kanye is the face of G.O.O.D. sad to say it, but they all basically work for him. You can hear a lil bit of all of G.O.O.D. music’s artist in kanye’s rhymes. and the only one’s with notable mainstream works are john legend and common. smh… but if in means hella paper and bitches i’d take a ghostwriting job any day.

i think ive tried to listen to consequence before.. cant remember why he aint stick with me. ill check out his new shit since he think he better than everyone, which he probably not. but well see.
Kanye did get a little of his style from Cons but he also got a little of his style from Kanye
Kanye is smart like Jay-Z. He tapes the people around him that help him grow. In a way he steals their shine and fuels the megastar that we now as Ye. It’s a shame causer Consequence is the better rapper all around from vocals to flow to lyrics.
You can look at each album and see who’s influenced him or who’s ghostwritten or helped him on his albums.
Just look at 808s you’ve got Kid Cudi & Mr.Hudson as the major influences/ghost writters/song editors.
It’s all love though I just wish Consequence was a bigger star releasing more music.
being a bigger star doesnt equal releasing more music. he can release as much as shit as he want.
^^^^ i agree with you post halfway i dont think kanye steals there shine, he uses there talent and in reverse they use his talent and his name to get there game up. Also unlinke many others rappers that have labels. kanye artists actually put out albums and mixtapes and are allowed to do there thing with the help of kanye. for example kid cudi he was known in the underground, kanye invited to help with 808s and BP3, signed with good music and put out his album and now he’s know he is on tv show and well known. big sean is on the way too.
What’s a good cons mixtape/cd that I can check out? I’ve never given him a listen but this a hot song.
lol @word sound just lik my homeboy kev .
What people do forget to mention is Kanye West a producer too, and to reach that level you’ll have to wait in line for centuries.
I think they’ve both kind of fed off each others style/mannerisms/energy, just because of how long they’ve been working together.
This was at Digiwaxx and I was there yesterday… I think it’s wack that Digiwaxx never gets props for putting dope shit together. Anyway nuff respect to CONSEQUENCE. The mixtape is classic materiall and it’s obvious that his roots in hip hop are real and have influenced Kayne. If it wasn’t the cast then I don’t think Kanye would rock with him so hard. My 2 cents!
i fux with whole of G.O.O.D Music cept sara them niggas weird
Digiwaxx doesn’t get props a lot because you guys are a payment service mostly for DJs and stuff and the regular public doesn’t have access to your material like we do on blogs.
And you charge an artist $1200 dollars to put on song on your site, just so you guys can email ‘em out to a bunch of DJs when the artist could just put in the legwork themselves and save money.
@p’cola
Don’t quit your day job and Take’em to the Cleaners are classic. go check the out.
Quence is Kanye’s biggest influence by far. You here Quences rhyme patterns in everything Kanye does.
That’s Queens braggadicio, not Chi -town swag.
