I was able to get The Clipse choice for their Best of 2009 while doing a 2×2 Interview with them and Picaso (of Language Artz). The 2×2 interview is forthcoming but I felt like even though this was a short list the clip could stand on it’s own and serve as a small teaser for the full interview with Malice and Pusha T. – eazee

Them picking Rick Ross means they don’t have taste? Pretty sure Deeper than Rap is on most rappers best of ’09 list. Even 9th wonder said that shit. Feel like people just knock on Ross because he is popular and the drama around him without actually judging his music.

wow. deeper than rap. i had more faith in clipse. these guys have been pretty disappointing lately. I mean their album was tight, but not as good as their last 2 and now they think rick ross was best of 2009? thats just horrendous

Clipse are in get money mode.. Ross rhymes “Automatic” with “Automatic”… multiple times in a song. He is fucking garbage.
These guys wanna get on whatever radio shit they can, or what’s poppin. I guess I don’t blame them. That new album was a let down. They fell down a couple rungs in 2009, for real. Better come back with some real shit.
