Tony Yayo x Koch? Roffle. (Video)

Despite releasing a gold-selling album back in 2005, “Thoughts of a Predicate Felon,” Tony Yayo got the boot from Interscope Records two years later. (*deeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaad*)

Currently still signed with G-Unit, Yayo is without a distributor and considering the independent route. But apparently Yayo has no interest in joining one of the biggest independent outlets in hip-hop.

When asked if he’d consider signing with E1, [formerly known as Koch] the label 50 Cent has previously dubbed “a graveyard,” Yayo assured it was out of the question.

“Would I consider signing with Koch? No,” he told BET.com. “Because I know 50 would structure a better deal than Koch would give me. So I would just stay over here, you know, G-Unit’s a good label. I mean, we got our own people that work for us, so I feel like even on the “T.O.S.” [Terminate on Site] album, I felt like we was independent on that album, like Interscope didn’t give us the push that we need like iTunes and other places.” – BET

  1. Yayo <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

  2. yayo needs to grow the fuck up and stop letting 50 make all his decisions for him. he acts as if he is that great of an emcee in the first place. im not saying go to konch but don’t reject the idea just becuz 50 said so. stop being a lil bitch and be a man. just my opinion

  3. ^^
    Word

  4. 50 will leave Interscope and get his own distributing deal…50 got the paper to make these kind of moves. They will make more money this way. G Unit the label, ??? handles distributing. It makes sense. Go get that paper.

“If you are independent and sell 40,000 copies you are RICH. If you are signed to a major and sell 40,000 you get DROPPED”

  5. ^^
i agree wit you that 50 might actually is gonna go out and get his own distributing deal but what makes you think he is gonna take yayo with him i mean look at all the people he left behind on his label
    buck
    game
    mobb deep
    mase
beanie sigel (and the man didn’t even stay wit 50 long enough to get a deal)
and almost everyone else except banks and yayo he might keep banks because the man can seriously spit even though his last album was wack as hell but yayo seriously come on

  6. ^^daveg <<now thats word

y go to koch when they gonna take sum of ur cut. didnt u hear wat yayo said bout his last mixtape which did like a couple 10s of thousands he spent 500 buck on the whole mixtape lol. hes makin money

  7. you know whats funny? no one on black wall street has no buzz…

  8. @brooklyn…Yayo will go everywhere 50 goes solely because they’re like brothers. 50, Banks, Yayo started GUnit from the ground up. 50 can kick all he wants out the group but he won’t do that to Banks or Yayo. And besides, can you say TAX WRITE OFF hahaha.

50 will leave Interscope. Why is he even there? Dre didn’t really contribute to BISD. One of the tracks he supposedly produced leaked over a year ago from Detox and he gave it to 50. (It Could’ve Been You) Interscope did not market BISD like a label giant should have.

  9. daveg said this on February 26th, 2010 at 12:31 pm << ur rite i think 50 is thinking same thing n tryin to branch out. das y he doin all those tyra n family eveneing shows n movies so hes more freindsly n diverse he cant be the bad guy of rap for ever.

  10. Yayo’s not stupid he’ll see the most money stickin w/ 50.

  11. “Death To My Enemies”, “Psycho”, “Ok, You’re Right”, are produced by Dr. Dre. “It Could’ve Been You”, was produced by DJ Khalil. Know your credits son! Anywho, BISD, was a dope/great album that wasn’t pushed/promoted by the powerhouse label, Interscope. Especially frm his previous effeorts: “Curtis”, “The Massacre”, “GRODT”. It was like if he wasn’t giving them “pop” records or shit THEY want on the radio, it shows that they participated in helping this album sell. Great album nonetheless. Now these albums frm Lloyd Banks & Yayo, I’m honest to GOD that they will be BETTER than anything you’ve heard frm their previous work cuz they have no chains attached to stop them from releasing records THEY want to drop, real talk. “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley”, is fuckin dope. The beat of course is ill and the lyrics was so-so but still held their own, you know?! I CNT WAIT!!!
