  5. I must defend Game’s Shake. While it definitely didn’t rhyme enough it was a story telling track with lots of energy. It’s atmosphere was light hearted and he uses the right words to describe situations. It’s a fun story track that felt genuine Much better than 90% of LAX recording sessions.

    Joell did his thing too but it’s not any better than Game’s.

  14. I have not nor do I agree with the sentiments that Game is necessarily s a better lyricist than Joell Ortiz. If anything I think Joell is the better lyricist and Game is an example of an artist who played his cards to the best degree while bluffing extremely well and was fucking lucky.

  26. I think Joell got lucky with a few good verses here and there, so people thought he was a lot sicker than he really is, but come on. He’s really not that dope.

    He sits on twitter all day and argues with “the haters”, and he is like 0 for 8 in 2010 so far.

    Sorry. Im not a hater. But I think hes going to prove himself to be pretty average after all is said and done. Im glad more people are realizing this.
