when was having fun to be OVER played? I mean, let’s be serious if Luda REALLY wanted to have an album talking about Battle of the sexes. Then go the full mile. There isn’t a song on there where two ppl of tha opposite sex talking about how each other have fucked up ways, and try to make shit better. Or better yet, have a song on there where men need to be better fathers and vice-versa for women too. He could’ve really went somewhere with this album, but he too the route of what you call it? Fun. Oh yea, smh. Ppl can have fun for so long, then afterwards reality sinks in.

Luda was consistent all the way to “Release Therapy”. after that just seems like its going down hill. He needs to make the music he feels and wants to do, not what they advise or direct him to do. at least that is what seems to be going on.
I dont really like the idea of this album. A battle of the sexes with 4 songs featuring girls? He probably should have renamed the album. Im embarrassed for Luda’s pathetic features. Neyo is solid but the next best feature is probably Scrappy, who is average at best. At least Luda got the real king of the south (sarcasm) Gucci Tucci to be on his album. Im a fan of Chris Bridges but c’mon man, you gotta get better features than this. There is still hope tho for his solo tracks :)
i give luda a pass on shit like this. hes made enough really good albums to earn a pass on a project like this. I’m sure he’ll bounce back with something for the true fans soon enough.

I don’t think there’s one person that will argue “Red Light District” was trash. “Release Thearpy” was somewhat decend, “Theatre of The Mind” had some SICK production, but Luda didn’t deliever. there are plenty of reasons why ppl listen to music, ad one strong approach is the relevance of ones life. Am I wrong or right? Now, with that being said, you listen to bullshit I guess everyday. This album gonna burn up the radios for months. Luda can do whatever he want. He ain’t no rapper that used gimmicks to sell or to gain buzz. Except for his last album, he make solid radio hits and that sell the albums. So with this album he gonna be that hottest rapper again that all the artists gonna be wanting to work with.

I listen to all types of music, from Wayne to Lupe to Michael Jackson to KoRn and while some of the music I listen to is meaningful, I consider that to be a bonus to the entertainment factor in the music I listen to. In other words, the main focus for my music is not to learn life lessons, as I learn those from actually living life. All I said in my last post here was that fun ain’t never a bad thing, which I firmly believe. Which is why I’m giving Battle of the Sexes a chance.
