If you were on East Coast time, you caught a version of this performance which was all but bleeped out for about 30 seconds. Thankfully, Mel was able to rip a better, less censored version of the performance.

Hip Hop, Video

Lol @ Eminem as a hype man.
…and Drake did all of that without falling down.
There is also a completely uncensored version that I downloaded this morning circulating out there. The funny thing is, after hearing the full uncensored version, CBS didn’t need to bleep ANYTHING out. Drake, Wayne and Em all censored themselves or used alternative words for the performance like they knew they should because it’s a live television performance. It just shows that CBS still didn’t trust them to make the right decision, as hip hop continues to lose respect. Now a bunch of people out of touch with hip hop watching the LIVE broadcast last night will think all they were doing was a bunch of cussing throughout the performance. SMH.
epic.
co-sing mike dreams they werent even swearing……………. bunch of idiots lol
but seriously i bet all 3 of them thought they killed it when half they shit was being censored
shit like this pisses me off… they neva wanna give us the respect. OBVIOUSLY they werent gonna b cussin all ova the place as if they dont kno this is bein broadcasted live, actin like we cant b professional, and now ppl that dont kno betta think were a bunch of coons wit no respect. thats how stereotypes keep on gettin portrayed
10x’s beter already
really upset i didn’t get to enjoy this on the big screen live…CBS ruined it…also no Kanye was a huge bummer for the Grammys
Corporations will never fully embrace authenticity not matter what it is. Partially only when $$$ is involved. Most of the supporters of mainstream music ignore what is being perpetuated and continue supporting the nonsense. There is no regard for the negative impact & detriment of current Black culture & family overall. Rap music & Hip Hop will always be a form of expression especially for all people not being heard. I just wish Wayne didn’t have his damn ass/drawers out?!?!?!!? Why and the hell would anyone have respect for someone that can’t even dress themselves. I think we have to take a serious look at ourselves thru our rebellious behaviors. The images we uphold are very counter productive ultimately to the art form & culture of Hip Hop. Is this what people will show there kids what they’ve accomplish when they grow up. I don’t support that SHIT! Not taking away anything from Lil Wayne, Drake or Eminem at all because they all have music I like. We just have to take things to a higher level of responsibility without the lame street cred NONSENSE! Just my 2 1/2 cents
lmao look at 4:32
drake was grooving like shi*
somebody made that a gif last night and i’ve been laughing ever since
@djjamad…whether or not he can dress himself is all based off opinion…there’s people out there that have no problem with him having his drawers hanging out and dress whatever way they feel is comfortable…not everybody is going to change the way the present themselves just because somebody has a problem with it…im sure as hell not going to change the way i act or present myself to please some1 else’s opinion of me
@rmell..lmao yea Drake and Wayne
“I didn’t even say anything. You guys bleeped me and I didn’t even swear.” – Taylor Swift
I liked the Blame It performance, but this was alright. Nothing on SLU last year though.
If the rap game wasn’t controlled by accountants and lawyers in suits and in big record company offices, you wouldn’t see any of these guys on tv. They decide who’s “gonna blow”, who’s lyrics/topics are dumb enough that uneducated cornerboys & dumb white college girls will both like/identify with (“derr, I like money and cars, derr”), and they decide who you watch. You realize this is just the company party for artists having the most sales? Anyone with half a brain knows Lil Wayne has the rhyming talent of a pickel, Eminem started dumbing down his lyrics years ago, and Drake was created in a studio by executives, because hell, why wouldn’t a tv teen heartthrob be a decent guy to put on the cover of a record? Sorry to flame, or troll, or whatever, I’m sure there’s plenty of sheep on this site who will be on here a.s.a.p. OMG LILWAYNE IZ BEST RAPPER ALIVE!!1!
I’ll just keep shaking my head. Everyone make sure you do what you’re supposed to, and by the new Eminem and Drake CD’s this year. Make sure to buy the Wayne rock album too, even though you don’t like rock music, it’s what they are telling you to do so you better do it.
I start rolling every time I see Jamie “Bootlegging” the performance lol
jd obviously you dont know that Drake was not signed by anybody until late into his popularity. so how can you say the industry made him if he was on his own and made his mixtape back when barely anyone knew him. plus eminem dumbing down his lyrics is the dumbest thing one can say. prove to me that they are dumber because i sure the hell think he aint that dumb. and lil wayne is so industry made rock album why did they keep pushing it back further, the “industry” u speak of was mainly against the rock album initially that is why they kept pushing it back.
I hate you people who think that hip hop is all industry in suits today, it is the type of ignorance that shows that you are just an arrogant person who hates whatever the general populous listens to because you want to separate yourself and make yourself “cool” by saying that you are above the mainstream. hey say what you want bout the rappers who cannot rap at all but make ringtone raps, but dont tell me that Eminem, Lil Wayne and Drake are part of them. And dont disrespect yourself by making yourself sound dumb and go off talking out of your a$$ about what you think u know. key words “think” u “think” these corporations run music industry and that maybe what u see but u obviously have no actual proof just cuz u say so and act like everyone should recognize the “obvious”
once again Prove that Eminem has dumbed down his lyrics years ago, show me what he says that sounds dumb to u
show me that Drake was created by studio reps and is just a fake actor without real talent (the guy can rap and has sick singing voice so i dont know why u dont recognize the talent)
show me that people who say lil wayne is a great rapper are being brainwashed by some commercial industry.
there are more than one company that produces music and I sure doubt that they all worked together to control the “world” in conspiracy. companies sign artists based on trends of what people want to hear. the masses are the initiator, not the company.
shake ftw. thanks.
lol *dead* @eminems intro dance/shuffle. lol.

LMAO @ Drake and Weezy acting all cool when they fully gettin dissed by EM
@jdsucks and jd…both the masses and companies are at fault…and yes em has slightly dumbed down his lyrics…more so in the sense that he made lyrics more “money-profit” friendly…like compare when im gone with songs like ass like that…but i think jd is against the industry is because say like lupe right now has lasers or even b.o.b’s new album n others of that sort…really the only place i see ANY ads for it are online like sites like this and when i actually want to search it…but then an album like rebirth you see it advertised on tv (where more people can see it) as well as on popular websites that are commonly searched and same goes for guys like drake and em…i think thats what jd was focusing on…

I really liked their performance. I though it was pretty tight, oddly I enjoy songs with Eminem and Wayne so far, I’ve only heard two though, so hopefully they do more.
Eminem’s jacket is made by Dolce & Gabbana for their Spring 2010 collection. You can find it at Saks Fifth Avenue stores or maybe their website. I bought the exact same jacket in December ’09 when it first came in to the Chevy Chase MD Saks Men’s store. Eminem really wore it well.
Em was lipsyncing. Dont know why they did that. His mic was turned off.
