First leak off the Earth Tone King’s upcoming project, Moontones, dropping on February 24th. The follow up to Earthtones that we dropped back in April.

After a cricially acclaimed 2009 which included a string of classic performances, a nomination in the Urb 1000, and the release of his lauded “Earthtones” mixtape, P.SO is starting 2010 off with a trip out of this world. “Moontones” is the follow up to 2dopeboyz declared “masterpiece” Earthtones and will be released on Feb 24th for free download. The project is a collaboration between P.SO and up and coming producers The Soundmen, who have been making quite the buzz in 2009 as well with their project VeckaFlyest and multiple remixes which landed them on many best of 2009 lists. Moontones is a mixture of original material and genre-jumping remixes to showcase the unique chemistry and genre jumping sounds that PsO and The Soundmen have created together.

  7. Production is a bit left, but pretty dope. I’m gonna wait for the full tape before downloading. 8thW1 continues to impress the hell out of me every track he gets on. Fresh and Sand came off clean too.

    I havent really checked for any of these MC’s before but this song is fuckin sick sickly. Love the production, and the first MC (P.SO?) rides the beat like a fuckin champ.

    And shakes artwork is one of his best covers yet. Good Poast.
