The homie Andrew liberated this track that was left on the cutting room floor of The Ecstatic. To be perfectly honest, this album sounds much better in your headphones than in car speakers. Something about the intimacy of headphones makes your appreciate it more.

Unreleased Mos Def, a good day indeed. I appreciated Ecstatic as a great Hip Hop album, one of the best in ’09 and something to bring Mos back to the top after everyone hating on New Danger & True Magic (both of which I enjoyed).

I’ve been listening to Mos Def since he came out and he sounds great 15 or so years later. Ecstatic was one of my favorite albums of the year and I’m ready for another gem from him. Nice post. PEace and GOD BLESS
