I’m a keep saying Jay Elec should not release Act 2 for free. He needs to set the expectation you pay for quality and in turn you get dope hip-hop. He doesn’t need to water down his game. We need to step up ours.

It kills me to see the way my favorite rappers have embraced this guy when Priest was doing this literally 12 years ago. But if there’s any solace for me it’s that I know Just Blaze is raping this dude Puff-style.

Please explain to me what’s gimmicky about dude. He’s a dope lyricist with dope beats. He’s humble and stays true to himself. He stays true to the culture. Maybe he does sound a little like Killah Priest but I can name tons of other new rappers who sound like artists who’ve passed through before. Maybe the hype for dude is gettin a little out of hand, and yeah niggas are on his dick hard.
