How are these tributes supposed to help exactly though..? I’m all for expressing yourself, but what are you accomplishing? And when you break it down, everyone is going to say the exact same thing just who says in a more clever way over a nicer beat. I think tribute tracks and freestyles should come with an obligatory donation.

I mean …how do you know they haven’t donated..Obviously they cared enough to do something, so why wouldn’t they. Especially when they could have just as easily done nothing and ,from the looks of this post, been better off for it. On the other hand they could just be publicity hunting and having completely backfire, which would probably a terrible idea anyway since more people would be concerned about what actually happened and how it can proceed to be fixed than who gave who 5 dollars.

Y’all getting waaaaaaay too mad over a simple comment — never accused Twista nor Kida of not donating. All I said was I don’t believe these “tributes” accomplish much. My opinion, right? Most of them are saying (or are going to be saying) the same thing, that most of us knew before these tracks. If you didn’t know that donating helps UNTIL you heard Twista say it, I dunno what tell you. Not saying I disagree with what either of their messages, I never even referred to the tracks cause I’m speaking in general. There are going to be at least a dozen more tributes like this — as for me donating, you’re contradicting yourself… you’re saying I dunno if Kida donated, but you’re so certain that I didn’t donate. Well done.
