SMKA’s The 808 Experiment: In Your Words (Video)

With the release of Vol. 2 less than a week a way, folks have been asking “what the hell is The 808 Experiment”. So in an effort to help y’all understand, they decided to get a group of the artists featured on the project and ask them. Cameos from Pill, Playboy Tre, Stanza, Aleon Craft, Senor Kaos and more.

SMKAs The 808 Experiment Vol. 2 is an annual compilation, produced entirely by SMKA, which showcases the immense talent and diversity that exists in hip-hopand especially our home town of Atlanta. Though a majority of the artists are from Atlanta, this project features artists from all over the states, and abroad. The project features unknown artists, well-established artists and up-and-coming buzz artists, which makes it a truly unique compilation of music.

  2. atlanta is funny. Like its a whole nother scene of dudes making really good music that have been gettin over looked for years. B.O.B is a greeat example. He been on grand hustle for a while not only rapping but producing great songs. but then dro signs whack ass rich kids and yung LA and they garbage as songs get way more radio play.

  10. I gotta thank SMKA for giving me the opportunity to be featured on the second installment of this project. ATL’s become a second home to me and every time I’m down there I get a chance to experience great music from the numerous dope artist they breed down there. To all my heavy hip-hop heads I have to let yall know not to sleep on that city and on Georgia and the rest of the south period, they have some monsters down there.
