I have a pair of Beats By Dre headphones and earbuds, and I’ll be honest: they’re some of the best sounding headphones I’ve ever owned. Even the earbuds have knock too. My only issue is that the earbuds are so long and oddly shaped that they tend to fall out of my ear unless I jam them in there, and that usually gives me a headache afterward. SHAKE EDIT: I NEED THESE IN MY LIFE.

From everything I’ve read, Monster overcharges people on name and not based on quality. And the Beats are a designer brand. You can get much better headphones for less. Like Lil Boosie said, Sennheiser’s.
If you want great headphones, go to a music store and not Best Buy. If you want the Beats, fine. Just don’t think that $300 price tag is because of their quality.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on that. I own a pair of Studio Beats By Dr. Dre and a co-worker of mine owns a pair of Sennheiser HD 595 which he paid a $330.0 for and he decided to return them after testing out my Beats because we both felt the quality is way better. I don’t regret purchasing my pair. You can buy them on ebay for $200 anyway. That’s how I got mine and I wouldn’t say Sennheiser is more affordable because some of their headphones go for more that $1000 and those are the ones for personal use not professional use. On their site any set of headphones for under $600 doesn’t have the noise cancellation feature like the Beats due. I just thought I’d share my opinion, since I’ve actually own a pair of Beats and have used a set Sennheisers for a week before my co-worker decided to return them.

yea the studio’s are better. I copped big bro a pair of the solo’s for Christmas and like Meka said, they are still good tho. I actually need another pair, maybe some tour’s. I kinda did my studio ones dirty taking them on the trip everywhere with me. pfft.

Yeah, it really depends on the exact pair of headphones that you get. I have tried a brand new pair of beats that sounded VERY SHITTY, and got another pair that sounded pretty damn good upon exchange….
SmashBLVD has it right. Shure is one of the best headphone/sound companies out (I’ve had my ‘noise-cancelling’ in ear buds for like 3 years, easily some of the best on the market)
