Sir.Nigel said exactly what I was gonna say.. Still Fly wasn’t Page’s style of a track. But, it was his track. Drake got more credit for the song than Page and Drake started getting pursued by labels and shit. I hope Drake didn’t do him like that, tho.

LMAO Drake gives him credit for Still Fly at the beginning of the song. He can’t be talking about that.
Drake gives Page his credit, but murders him on his own track and calls out some influential people in the city – DJs, photographers, even Page’s main dude (pause) Getti. Drake’s version got the MOST spins in the club. it most definitely got love, but was easily got MISTAKEN as DRAKE’s song and Page took some major offense to it. Still Fly was supposed to put Page on the map and Drake supposedly ‘sabotaged’ that. Now Page is catching feelings.
Even at the video shoot, there was some tension, Page was acting a bit like a prima donna and supposedly only wanted Drake in very few frames.
The whole ACC incident happened about a YEAR ago, so for Page to bring that up just shows how much this whole situation has been eating away at him.
With or without this Still Fly track, Drake has surpassed any rapper in Toronto, so for Page to feel like Drake is BLACKBALLING him in the industry, is just an excuse for the fact that he’s not as strong a lyricist and he doesn’t have a fanbase of people who really believes him.
This is the industry as we know it. What he thought would be a beneficial alliance, turned out kicking him in the ass in the long run.

DRAKE PERFORMED STILL FLY IN TORONTO AT THE FIRST SHOW HE DID LAST YEAR. PAGE KINDA TOOK IT PERSONAL THAT DRAKE NEVER INVITED HIM ON STAGE TO PERFORM THE TRACK WITH HIM, BUT STILL DID IT ANYWAY. ON AN INDUSTRY TIP IT MAKES SENSE WHY HES UPSET, BUT EITHER WAY BOTH THESE DUDES ARE KINDA EMOTIONAL IN THERE OWN WAY.
