This guys average at best. Honestly I gave him a listen before this big push, and I don’t hear it. I’ve heard him on Focus beats, 9th Wonder beats and he’s still not doing anything for me. More complaining of artwork the reason u don’t like the artist. I guarantee aFam and Focus are not paying 2db to post these joints. And someone said Kida sounds a mix between Bishop Lamont and Joell ortiz…that would be a pretty potent artist then. Those 2 artists and dope lyricists with a vision.

^Like I said before you must be dehydrated, and Kida ain’t water. He’s Kool Aid, he’s got some flavor but once you’re done you’re still thirsty. I’m a fan of Joell and Bishop, and Kida’s not even close to a watered down version of either, much less a combination of the two. How about Fashawn? Now that’s an intersting new west coast artist. Not this guy! Without being associated with Focus this guy wouldn’t have made it on the “Homage To Dr. Dre”. More than a few people I know were left scratching their heads on that one.
DIRTY PEDDALZ —- The only thing you are right about you are right about is the skill level of Bishop, Joell, and Fashawn. Those three artists are at the top of the skill spectrum…someone else had made that comparison–I was only shedding light on how dope of artists they were comparing Kida to.
I’m still thirsty for more Kida, go back and listen to this series. Plenty of dope songs.
