Reflection Eternal – Just Begun f. Jay Electronica, J. Cole & Mos Def [CDQ]

The radio rip had the internet in a frenzy. And for good reason, easily one of the dopest records of 2009. Big shouts to YOTB on the liberation. Revolutions Per Minute, February 2010. Happy fuckin’ holidays! UPDATE: Statik Selektah just hit me and said that he is teaming up with Talib and Hi-Tek for an official Reflection Eternal mixtape, that drops New Year’s Eve. Featuring new, unreleased and classic RE. Dope!

  34. This Is Hip Hop In It’s Purest Form Right Here.

  35. ^ good looks on the new lupe song

  36. You guys are exaggerating with the height you give these songs… Like if they’re THAT nice. Hip-Hop? Yes, but greatest of all time and what not?.. slow down.

  37. This track is boring to me.
I do however look forward to this new LP!
    Can’t wait !

  44. This off their new LP?

  45. Beat is sick you all are crazy
    and great verses

  46. This is gonna be on the album, and it is unbelievably dope. What a lineup. I hope that February ‘10 date is accurate.

  47. Cole wins. I’m just sayin

  48. I think Act II may just be coming tomorrow; even though he’s quoting a portion from Jay-Elec’s verse, IDK why he would say it today: http://twitter.com/TheMegatronDon/status/7000947435

  49. Leave it lames to come in a Jay E,MosDef,J.cole and talib thread to comment about Lupe Fiasco lmao…they feel threatened!

  50. THE MIGHTY MOS!!!

    thats all i gotta say

    bye

  51. FML, the download link doesn’t work. Does anybody have another link for this?

  52. [...] yet to hear him deliver a verse and not leave me stunned in awe. Instant classic. You can thank Shake for the [...]

  53. Atta’ boy Jay, can’t wait for Act II tomorrow.

  54. IM SORRY NO DISPRESPECT BUT NO JAYZ, SLUAGHTERHOUSE, NO EMINEM, NO KANYE, NO DRAKE, NO WAYNE, NO LUPE, NO NOOOOTHINNGG IS FUCKING WITH THIS

    WELCOME BACK THE 90′S

    MERRY CHRISTMAS BIITCHHES!!!!

I WOULD HAVE LOVED MOOD ON THIS OR JUST MAIN FLOW

  55. This song is hot as hell son! I think that J. Cole is sick as hell, he has a nice flow and some ill lyrics. I can’t wait for his album to drop.
    Go Ill!

  56. wait, what mixtape or album is this gonna be on?

  57. Hi-Tek is sick.
    Go Ill!

  58. This is going to be on Revolutions Per Minute, their second album.

  59. can’t wait for the mixtape and album Talib and Hi-Tek always dope.

  60. the unsung heroes ‘Forever’ line-up. straight lyricism. wish the beat was better tho, just like forever lol the horn gets a lil annoying throughout the verses

  61. dont compare forever and this beat.. please

  62. u know a kid is not involved in 90’s music, when he says I wish the “beat was better”

    lyrics matter?

  63. 100% dopeness

  64. Dopeness. They all did their thing on this. Can’t wait for Revolutions Per Minute to drop. Been anticipating this album since I heard Back Again during the summer.

  65. Hiiiiiiiip Hoooooooop

  66. what people are neglecting to mention is that J. Cole was a murderer on this track. damn. he is murking all his features.

“on this new school of rappers i will really go columbine”

  67. first off, J.Cole went monkeys on this track and out did everybody else. Cole’s flow is smooth and he rode the track way better and drop more hot lines. Jay stumbled on a gold mind with this kid….

But im sorry, Lupe, Em, Jay, Kanye, T.I. are all better than this song.

  68. beamMeup, you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

  69. really beamMeup??? Gucci Mane too??? Wow SMFH at that comment.

Jay Elec’s rhyme pattern > those artists named

  70. haha nvm it’s been said i guess but needs to be said again!

  71. HOT TRACK

Dont Dissect it so much u will lose the meaning

New Track Show Down December 09

Lupe Fiasco – Im Beamin > < Jay electronica Mos Def – Just Begun

  72. That lineup >>> 99% of the shit thats been coming out recently

  73. Is it me or has 2dope been kinda slow over these past couple weeks.

  74. * yea i noticed that tooo ,, its not the blogs its the music makers

  75. merry Quanza!

    *cums in pants*

    joke

    im drunk yall

  76. repcode for karmaloop!

    fittedcap247

  77. Whoever says the beat or song is weak has a short attention span and most likely prefers some Young Money Bedrock type music

  78. ^^ omg if you don’t like this song your brain and penis must be small. if you don’t like this song you like killing babies… if you dont like the beat or lyrics then you probably hang out with trannys… gtfo with that shit bro, if you haven’t learned by now everyone has different tastes and i think the horn is annoying as fuck. song is pretty good wish the beat went harder considering the lineup.
