Reflection Eternal – Untitled f. Jay Electronica, Mos Def & J. Cole [Radio Rip]

Would you look at that line up!? Just Blaze played this while on Tony Touch tonight (Mek posted the full audio rip here). I’m in the same boat as Dre though as this shit is far too crazy to get lost as a “bonus”. Shouts to Tim G on the rippage.

Get to it! (in Arnold voice)

  31. oh. my. god.

  32. http://therockabyereview.wordpress.com/2009/12/23/reflection-eternal-feat-jay-electronica-j-cole-and-mos-def-untitled/

Look there for the lyrics peeps.

I’ve spun this quite a few goddamn times. It’s really nice to hear J.Cole rollin with these dudes, even though he’s so young. That says something.
Such a dope song, no hooks, smooth beat, just rhymes that are saying something. The kind of shit I love. Let’s hear some more of this is 2010.

  33. J. Cole’s debut will be epic as will Jay Elec’s. This is ridiculous! Is it a Hi-Tek beat or a Just Blaze?

  34. its hi tek’s beat not just blaze’s…everyone kills it on this…if your sleeping on mos’ last verse listen again…he’s so none chalet and smooth with it that he gets taken for granted. he killed it along with everyone else. j cole def did his thing and we all know elect and kweli went in. dopeness

  35. Wow, just WOW. Christmas came early I guess.
    This shit > Forever

  36. Dope as hell. Jay Elec and Mos Def, along with Just Blaze and them.. they all doing some dope shit right now and they need to release all these Exhibits A/B/C, Holiday, this track and everything from their studio sessions on one CD, instead of just bonus tracks here and there.

  37. Great track. This the hip hop I love.

  38. I WANT TO BUY THIS…RIGHT NOW

  39. Everybody kills it but Jay Elec continually steals the show. J.Cole did his thing but he paled in comparison after following Jay Elec. Half of that is just Jay Elec’s natural vocals are better than J.Coles high-pitch vocals.

  40. The track goes IN. everyone did amazing on it. The beat is hard. What i like most about the track is that it doesn’t sound like a radio rip which makes it waaaaaaaay better.

  41. DAMN, Christmas came early. This shit is crazy.

  42. Wow… i believe this shit right here nigga!!!!! song of the year IMO.

  43. dope

  44. You know when you hear a song and you get chills when you hear it? This shit brings it back.

  45. This is what it’s all about. I feel like I just ate a well-balanced meal.

  46. yo this is one of them songs that i cant finish because i constantly rewind whatever verse i just heard. i think i have an itunes count of 2 but ive listened to each verse like 10 times. and the horrnnnnnnsss.

    j. cole = best new addition to rap this year.

kweli’s verse = better with each new listen. still holdin it down after hella years in the game

jay electramadan muhammad asalaamica rasoul allah supana watallah = some one special in this game. he just sees the world and raps about it in a way that i can’t even imagine

mos def = nigga can rap as weird as i feel.

hip hop aint dead. this nigga just divorced the radio and eloped wit the internet

  47. Kweli killed it.

  48. Niiiiiiiiiice

  49. FORGOT ALL ABOUT THIS!!!!
Jermaine Cole ftw, Jay Elec probably had the best verse but seriously yall really on his dick actin he’s Jesus or the 2nd coming or somethin…please calm down with all that,,its extremely corny

  50. Oh yea…this further proves J. Cole > Wheelchair Drizzy Drake Rodgers

  51. Jonnie – u mad? Your Lupe jocking elimnates any and all credibility you think you have.

  52. it was a straight song

  53. Thinks for the update on my credibility Smash…the majority of my Lupe posts are outlandish and joking but I still think he’s the best out rite now second only to Nasty Nasir Jones,,,if only either of them were on this track…only thing u can really compare with Jay Elec and Lupe is lyrics…but wordplay, punches, metas, flow/delivery….Lupe >> Jay ElecHannakuh

  54. yeah that was hot

  55. This is the backpack version of Forever…J. Cole WENT IN! He shined on this shit

  56. dope shit sounds like cdq

  57. wowzers

  58. Christmas came early, damn this is nice

  59. Damn this shit rides…. Props.

  60. Well damn! The next Reflection Eternal album is going to be flames… The guests on this one are a perfect fit. “Throw my money on the floor like the Notorious BUM” – JayElec Luvanthishit!

  61. only reason i clicked on dis link was for J.COLE dude is THE future . ROCNATION stand up!!!! and of course he kills it! all the other dudes r nice too but JCOLE IS SO FUCKING SICK.

“lets sweat out this alcohol bet im about to ball, and never let up look at how i just crept up with out applause, fed up with all the frauds, left yall with out a job the center of attention this is clever im Pau Gasol, really tho im Lebron, really dont got my mind on this new school of rappers i will really go columbine. throw up the diamond sign, boy you know imma shine, flow is Ramadan, cuz a couple years ago the game had they pajamas on, but now they on my D i should throw a condom on!”

  72. i bet all the non hip hop heads who hear this is gona say it wack and forever is better than this…..

  73. classic.

  74. J. Cole is nice, but all I ever hear him rap about is girls. Gettin’ kinda of sick of it.

I’ve been following dude since way back too…. flow is nice, content is garbage. jus my opinion. I’m sure he’ll get better as he grows.

  75. ^you MUST be lying

  76. It’s Reflection Eternal, that automatically = Hi-Tek. Why’s everyone saying Jus?
Also, a Ye verse on this would’ve been ill.

  77. this shit is incredible! great post right here

  78. All this is missing is a verse from Common

  79. GOD DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNN!!!! GO IN

  80. damn..normally i realllllly like these cats..well minus j cole….
but they dont come right n the beat is weak..jay elec again on his “eloheim” repetitively…felt like forcing all the MCs onto a track..
    there aint no consistency.

  81. j cole’s patterns are very similar to az’s on “serious” with nas.

  82. Head nodding music at its finest. Fuck you mean no consistency…Screwface to you my man.

  83. I just feel like nothing can fuck with this… not eminem, not slaughter, not jay, nothing

I feel this crew and Just blaze, hitek acouple other producers could take over the game recruit some cats like elzhi, black thought, nas, or whoever and consider the game over.

  84. THIS BEAT > fagget bullshit pop southern nigger slavery tap dancing circus commercial menstril show beats

  85. a ye verse on this would gay… this is hip hop not pop bullshit

  86. A tear just came to my eye while listening to this. OMFG!!!!! This is the track of the goddamn year right here!!! 100% HIP HOP

  87. dope

  88. Damn that real Hip-Hop really is starting to come back again with tracks like this! Straight fiya everyone did they thing on it but J Cole & Jay Electronica straight merked it! CDQ needed ASAP! A late candidate for track of the year to!

  89. dope track…

  90. Yes sir.

  91. J. Cole…………..

  92. breath-of-fresh-air rap

  93. J.Cole’s flow is definitely right off AZ’s jawn from serious…
